Food was excellent, but service stunk. Came back because the first experience was great. At 8:20 pm Saturday night it was not... busy. The venue was beautifully set up and the staff was friendly an accommodating to me as the host and to my guests. I highly... recommend using them for any type of party. First time here with my husband. we are not coming back. The experience was horrible. my soup of the day came cold. I refuse to... get another one. my daughter plate came in glass which is not smart gave me no Utensils for the child. My husband food had fliesflying all around him the whole time he tried to eat. His stomach got so upset after eating there. The person we had put noeffort in telling us what’s good there. We explained the fly situation and he said nothing but smile. So this place has a great ambiance. I really like the decor, the setup, the live music during brunch. The menu items are great.... Little pricey but on first observation, seemed it was going to be worth it. We sat at the bar as they said it would be a 45minute wait for a table. Although we saw many many tables open, I figured it’s a staffing issue. No problem, totallyunderstandable. We go to the bar and the bartender just seemed that it was the last place she wanted to be. We ordered 2 platesof eggs Benedict and 2 sides of breakfast meat. After waiting 45 minutes for the food and receiving no communication from thebartender at all, we asked a blonde gentlemen that was helping behind the bar if he wouldn’t mind checking on the food. Whenhe came back he said it would be another 10-15 minutes. I’m sorry but an hour wait for some poached eggs on muffins seems alittle crazy. I could understand if they were packed but like I said there were many empty tables and no one working thereseemed to be operations with much urgency so I don’t think they were swamped. My friend said “Im sorry to ask this but..”and was rudely cut off by this guy who says “there’s nothing I can do about how long it’s taking they are backed up”.She was going to ask that they cancel the order that hadn’t been started yet because we have somewhere we needed to be. Hesaid I’ll see what I can do. Then mysteriously 2 minutes later our food was in front of us. Weird. Unfortunately, the qualityof the food didn’t help the situation. The “poached” eggs were just about hard boiled consistency at this point. No runnyyolk that you look forward to with eggs Benedict And the sliver of Canadian bacon was paper thin and much smaller that themuffin, more like a garnish honestly. Ironically, the food was cold though the eggs were over cooked. This place has potential,but they are not there by any means. I will start this by saying I've never been in am establishment that management/ownership has so set up to fail. Reserved for a... family dinner for a large party on a Sunday evening and decided to have a drink before the meal. Half the beers on tap arekicked. No Reisling wine. Drinks we did get were great and the bartender was apologetic and friendly. Sat down to dinner.Appetizer ordered was not available. Ordered meals. Appetizer somehow then became available. Nothing ordered special came outwith our food. No sides of sauce. No pickles. Empty Ketchup bottles on several tables. Meals provided were different than whatwas described on the menu. Food received was good, kitchen staff was accommodating but a headache from the first order.Management do better. Read more
