Reviews for Daddypops in Hatboro, PA
Not worth the wait. Food is generic breakfast but the pancakes were good. They had cinnamon and nutmeg in them. Otherwise the... staff was slow and unable to multitask. Most seemed overwhelmed at the amount of diners even though it's a small diner. Otherdiners can be rude and inconsiderate not only to other diners but the staff as well. Most sit at the bar leaving one spacein-between so parties of two are left waiting hours. If there's a line outside find somewhere else to eat you're not missing outon anything. Read more
We usually love this place. Not today. Ordered eggs over medium, which means white fully cooked and yolk still runny. Eggs... weren't even over easy. Lots of very clear egg flowing out, lost my appetite. No one cared at all. Will not return. Read more

I went on a Wednesday afternoon with my dad, the atmosphere was quiet so my dad and I were able to talk and inside was very cool... to look around at all the different decor. Our waitress was so nice and patient. I had the creamed chipped beef and it wasabsolutely amazing! Read more
I got pancakes with chocolate chips & bananas on top, and they were very good!
The atmosphere here is fantastic. I love the homey feel, like walking back in time. Daddypops combines the old 1950's retro... stainless steel roadside diners with the food and atmosphere of a local country or Appalachian back road diner. They are knownfor breakfast, and their breakfast food is flavorful and tastes great -though it may be on the greasy side for some tastes.Heaping piles of home fries, eggs over easy, blueberry pancakes with powdered sugar and breakfast sausage, bacon or scrapple arethe common fares. They do not take reservations and seating is very limited and is first come/first serve, so there is often aline out the door. However, the line generally moves pretty quickly - typically a wait of 30 minutes or less. However, if theweather is bad and it's crowded, maybe try another day. Parking is also somewhat limited in back. They have a "two deep"parking area where you can get parked in if someone pulls in behind you. To avoid this potential problem, don't pull all the wayin. Usually only the staff are in the back, so don't feel bad about parking them in. And if you do get parked in, describe thecar blocking you in to the wait staff and they will help find the owner. Tips are in cash, so remember to bring paper money, oruse the ATM in the small lobby area. This is one of my favorite diners in Montgomery County! I hope you enjoy it! Read more

While the breakfast options are fantastic, they also make a fantastic burger-- quite possibly the best burger I've ever had. I... always stop here when I'm in the area. I recommend ordering the bacon cheeseburger with a runny fried egg on top. Bring your ownhot sauce. They don't have hot sauce, but the food and service far outweigh that small inconvenience! Read more
