Cute place, good food but they add their own tip I wasn't ok with that.
Sauces were excellent, meats were bland, tortillas soggy. Very over priced for the quality.
Not impressed. In the league of Mexican fast food for quality. Prices weren't bad. Staff were friendly and attentive. Offered... complementary margs but they had run out of tequila. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food, go down the street to Yorkand Moreland and visit La Morena. Much better. Read more
The food was delicious! Only 2 young people serving and they killed it. Our waiter recommended the chorizo burrito and it did... not dissapoint. The tres leches cake was amazing, it came topped with whipp & choclate sauce. Proud of these folks for workingdiligently even though they were short staffed. We will beback for sure! Read more
Not going back! Had heard good things, but maybe that was the Ambler one. Our waiter was clueless. Asked 2 basic questions about... the menu. He didn't know. Fajitas came without tortillas. Had to ask for them. Also no cheese. Steak for them was tough and hadno flavor. My 2 teenage sons enjoyed their tacos and enchiladas. Waiter forgot his tamale. Waiter never came back to ask if weneeded anything or wanted something else. My son had to get up and go ask for more water. We waited for the check. Never came.We got up and went to pay and waiter asked cash or card. I said, "I don't know the total bill!" Service terrible. He should notbe a server. Also there were a few people eating outside but not crowded so his ineptitude was not bc he was terribly busy. Read more
This was our first visit to El Limon. It could have been worse, it could have been better. [Note: we realize that they're... shorthanded right now, and I'm trying to be fair and take that into account] The chips and salsa appetizer was good. The chipswere tasty and had an interesting texture. The salsa fresca was tasty, but the quantity was miniscule. And when we asked formore salsa, they charged us $1.95. C'mon, it's salsa fresca, people. It's practically free. Our main courses were tasty, hot,and fresh. The beef was slightly tough and dry, but not that bad really. My companion had water to drink; I had unsweetenediced tea (a glassful that was mostly ice). When I asked for a refill, they charged me $2.00 for it. C'mon, it's iced tea. It's practically free. Other restaurants are more liberal with refills. Service was adequate? not negligent and not superattentive. The restaurant was not very busy during our time there (a Thursday evening). Overall, I'd rate it a C. Nothing wasbad, but nothing was great. We may come back to try again another day, but for now, we'd rate it below La Morena and ReyAzteca. Read more
It was my mothers 60th birthday. We drove a long way to check this spot out because we heard good things. We spent about $30... dollars on food. When I get there I ask to use the restroom. And they acted weird about it. So I explained that we drove 45minutes. My mother was waiting outside and when I came out, she needed to use the restroom as well. She happened to tell me thatthey acted really weird about it, and I said the same thing happened to me. No one was wearing masks, so it wasn?t Covid thatthey were worried about. Not the experience we were expecting to get. Im 22 and have been working in retail / service since Iwas 15. I can say, this was very disappointing. Will not be coming back. They didn?t really give us any reason too. Wasn?t likethe food was fantastic that I would wanna get the same thing again. And it wasn?t that their customer service was so spot that Iwould be willing to try another dish or come back. Hopefully this was detailed as it was not awful. It was Just a ?nearly bad?experience.
