We and 3 other groups waited to get seated for 15 minutes even though 4 tables got cleared in the meantime. They just weren't... bussed because there was only one server and bartender. Waitress didn't acknowledge us in any way during that time. I don'tunderstand why it's so hard to properly staff your restaurant. Steak was nothing special and not worth the wait. This place is awesome! Came here after hiking on a whim and so glad I took a chance! Great quality meats and a fresh salad... topping bar. The smoked drumsticks were delicious and their BBQ and buffalo sauces taste home made. The atmosphere is rustic andcasual and the staff is excellent. Also you have to try their sarsaparilla cocktail, its lightly sweet and refreshing after aday in the heat. Read more
Good atmosphere, great food. Started off with pretzels and beer cheese - always a good option and this did not disappoint. I had... a half rack of ribs while my husband ordered (and grilled his own) steak. Ribs were delicious and the cut of meat looked to begood quality. He liked the option of grilling his own and loved using such a large grill. The servers/waitresses were very niceand fun to talk to. Also, major kudos for having booze and later hours! Read more
The staff here were really friendly and although cooking your own steak is kind of a lot of work, it was really fun and ended up... being delicious. I'm not really an expert but I think the (raw) steaks they give out here are really good quality. We alsoplayed several rounds of pool so that was fun, too. Read more
We've had many disappointing food stops during our road trip but this was not one of them. Very cute atmosphere and authentic... local feel. We had the ribs and were the best bbq ribs we've ever had! Super impressed with the food and service and woulddefinitely try to come back :) Read more
I highly recommend eating here for barbecue and honesty one of the best restaurants that we have eaten in our Utah trip. I love... the ambience of the place. Once you are seated, you would need your IDs ready before they get your order. I am amazed to hearthat there is only one server and one cook working and I think they did a fantastic job! This place was AMAZING!! I'm so glad we stopped in. The bar has a strong locals vibe with really down to earth, happy people.... Everyone was very friendly and happy to share a kind word with strangers. The bartender took great care of us, we sat at a tablesince the bar was full and she came and checked on us throughout our stay. They have a few local drafts and then a pretty bigselection of cans. They also had a full bar with a large liquor selection. I had a cook your own steak, I picked the NY stripwhich is my favorite cut. They have a dozen seasonings for whatever tastes from classic salt and pepper, to some spicy and somehome style cookout seasonings. It was fun cooking on the communal grill, the chef came out and gave pointers on hot and coldspots on the grill. On top of being really fun, my steak was super tasty and flavourful! It comes with a nice dinner salad, rolland a HUGE potato. My boyfriend got the ribs and wow!! Best ribs I've ever had, the chef came out and talked to us about themand how early he gets up to get them started, and you can tell. Then were tender, not even just falling off the bone but, unableto stay on the bone. There was no need to knives, just fork the tender delicious meat and pull bones out as you get to them. Aswell as being tender they had a ridiculously tasty crust on them, so good I can't even describe it!! The sweet tangy bbq saucewas perfection. I'd recommend this place to anyone wanting their socks knocked off. It's worth a drive if it's out of your wayand worth a stop any time you're near. Top notch! A hidden gem. Steak was perfect, you can cook your own if you want on the indoor grill, potato, bun & salad, good deal. Staff... were great. Did not see the 20% tip the other customer saw. We gave 20% because it was great. Oh, by the way, the pool tablesare free and they are straight. Its not fine dining but a great place. Definitely recommend. Read more
