went to Del Sol Mexican Restaurant in Hattiesburg the one besides the mall on 98 tonight and while there not long after me and... mom sat down and received our drinks and chips/salsa I fainted several times the first time (my mother hollered for help) and Iwas shaking real bad almost like I was having a ????seizure.There was a doctor (a cardiologist) and (a nurse) there that camestraight over after hearing and seeing what was going on, we are so thankful and blessed that they were there they were such aBIG help. Anyway 911 was called and they took me by ambulance to the hospital But the reason for this post is like I said we hadjust sat down pretty much I had 1 sip of her Dr Pepper and about 3 chips ( mom also ) this happen as they were putting her onthe stretcher a waiter brought our food on plates and ticket and ( not even in a box) knowing what was going on so the Doctorand myself said can you at least put it in a box none of us could believe how we were being treated and handed me the bill for57.18. They took their time my mother had to hunt the waiter down just to pay my bill. I’m so sorry but I believe it’ssorry. I might be wrong but I don’t feel like I am at all and why should we have to pay that when we were leaving due to amedical emergency and never even touched our meal, or at very least they could’ve only charge us for the drinks chips andsalsa!!! Oh and the manager did give us a 6.00 discount after my mother called and argued with him (the price of the cheese dipwe ordered and never ate). Never again will I eat at this place, they were so rude and inconsiderate. Also we pretty much justsat down like I said had a sip of my drank they had time to cancel the order. Read more

Love this place. Ask for Arnold, he is the greatest! The entire family loves him and Del Col, our go to for family birthdays.

Been there with a large group several times and its all good every time!

Not terrible but over all I don’t think I will be going back. The food was OK but the service was lacking for sure. I felt... like our server was irritable and difficult to communicate with. Again, not terrible but I definitely wasn’timpressed. I’ll put it this way. The fajitas weren’t sizzling and neither was the experience. Read more

This is one of my favorite Tex Mex restaurants in Hattiesburg. The service can be a little slow at times but overall a good... dining experience. Walked in to a crowded restaurant at peak lunch hour - instantly greeted and seated quickly. Warm chips and good tomato based... salsa brought within seconds and cheese, guacamole offered immediately. Ordered lunch fajitas with a request for jalapeños tobe added and a del sol quesadilla. Both were good and brought to the table very fast in ridiculous quantities that make youwonder how these folks make money. Excellent service. Good food. Extremely fast. Read more
