Update, we came again and we loved it again. Sarah made our drinks perfectly. My daughter and i both tried drinks that Sarah... invented. She is definitely an asset to the business. The food was awesome as usual. My wife, son and i visited O'Charliestoday around lunch time. I have yo say that i was impressed with the prices. 3 of us ate full meals and we shared an appetizer.We each had one drink. The bar tender was an older and very pleasant lady. She worked her butt off. The service fast. The foodwas great. I will say that they need to do something a little different with the shrimp. I had the Low Country Shrimp. It wasn'ttoo bad but it did have a slightly fishy taste. The rice was excellent. The fries were cooked to perfection. My son had theprime rib burger. It was masterfully done. My wife had the Buttermilk Battered Fried Shrimp. Her shrimp was very good. Her coleslaw was very well prepared. Their rolls were perfectly done. We really enjoyed our visit. The manager, Tim was very personable.I enjoyed talking with him. The bar maid was Dannett (Ms. D). She was very professional and smiled a lot. She made sure we goteverything we ordered. She checked on us in a timely fasion without bugging us too much. The gentlan that brought the food outwas well groomed and very nice. The food came out fast and was hot where it needed to be and cold where it needed to be. Overall i would definitely recend this place to all walks of life. I was dressed nice. My son was dressed casual. My wife is awelder/fabricator and just got off work and was dressed in grwasy clothes and a welders hat. But noone ever looked at her asdifferent. Food was great! Loved the cajun pasta! My husband said his steak was just perfection, Margaritas were amazing! And our server,... Hope, was so attentive to everything we needed even though we ran the poor girl to death she never stopped smiling! Stopped here for lunch while traveling. Nice pleasant atmosphere, server was terrific. Food was awesome. I had a huge half rack... of baby back ribs that were fall off the bone tender. Prices were good for the quality and quantity of food served. Recommend! Read more
This place has really gone down. I think this is the last time we will ever go to here. Both meals i ordered the chicken was... burnt and hard. Mac and cheese was hard noodles and dry no cheese. Steak was well done i asked for medium. The ribs were notdone the tasted like rubber. I threw it in the garbage. Read more
I made a large pick up order at this location, and I was very disappointed. For starters, one employee could not answer any... questions I had. I?m not sure if she was new or what but she didn?t know anything at all. I received my order and begin to checkeverything. I immediately sent the fried pickles back in, and the 2nd batch was the same. The chicken tenders where fried darkand hard. They did make more that looked more presentable. The potato skins looked like they were previously cooked and justsitting there waiting to be served? I recently had an excellent experience at another location, so I decided to try this one inHattiesburg, MS which was terrible. If I could of gave a negative rating I would have. As shown in the pictures are a comparisonof the fried pickles and comeback sauce. The items that look disgusting is from the Hattiesburg, MS location. The other isactually from 2 days ago from another location and it still looked more appetizing. This restaurant in Meridian MS always has delicious food and a laid back atmosphere that feels like home. The waitresses are... friendly too! My favorite things to order are the Any and Everything Salad since it never disappoints! My other favorite is theGrilled Salmon. I am a Salmon lover and it's delicious. Ordered pickup. Food was not ready until 25 minutes passed the time it was supposed to be. Salad was brown and wilted with mushy... tomatoes. Baked potatoes were over cooked/possibly re- heated. Rolls were rock hard and clearly re-heated. Inedible. Peachcobbler was not completely done. The only thing positive about the food were the meat dishes. Read more
