This Denny's is at the Truck Stop but they do such a good job. Always busy and gives everyone a chance for a hot cooked meal????

My fiance and I went here this past Fri, Sept. 23,2022. When we got there it was pretty busy. We sat down and ordered our... drinks. Got them and then ordered our food and an appitizer. Our app. came out and we ate it. 25 minutes went by, all the peoplethat were there ate and left and new people came in. Those people got their food and some ate and left and we still hadn'tgotten ours. Our waitress comes over and says, I'm sorry, their being slow tonight. I said, I guess so becuase those peopleright there (as I pointed), just got here 10 minutes ago and they already have their food. She apologizes again and says shewill go find out. About 10 more minutes later she comes back, apologizes again and says they had bumped our order. Whatever thatmeans but she was going to go tell them to make it right now. She goes in the kitchen. We hear yelling back and forth, stuffbeing thrown and the manager going back there and yelling, STOP THE DRAMA! Our waitress walks out the kitchen and says I'm out!The cook walks out of the kitchen on the phone and said, Will you just come pick me up. We sat there between 5-10 minutes longerand said lets just go somewhere else. We went to the register. We told the girl we wasn't waiting anymore and wanted to pay forour 2 drinks and nachos. She started typing it in and the manager walked up, very rude by the way, she took over but told thegirl that the cooks were not going to make our food because our waitress yelled at them. So the kitchen people never had anyintentions of making our food. She rang it up and it was $12 and something and she said, Lets just make it $11.80. Seriously, a20 cent discount. Horrible experience. I walked in and the server just walked up front to look at the list of table number. Did not speak to me or... make eye contact. My to go order was sitting right there so since no one addressed me . I left to spend my hard earned moneyelsewhere, where people knows what good customer service is. These folk don?t seem to know that. So that food that?s sitting upfront is no longer my problem or that ticket in their system. Read more
For it be Covid season it was nice,clean, fresh hot food. Yes, we were every other table. My waitress was awesome, Yes, they had... mask on. I ordered the 9-grain pancakes which are so impossibly diner deliciousness I mean so good I orderd some to go. I alsogot the t-bone steak and eggs with hashbrown added onions listen I was so happy and full. It has become a journey as a truckdriver to find good food cooked to order with flavor.
