I was very unhappy with my ribeye steak and prime rib for the price I paid. Had no flavor at all. The place is nice and cozy. The wait staff were wonderful. The food was mediocre at best. Fried green tomatoes were almost dry... and flavorless. I ordered the $44 Haub ribeye. It was so thin and stringy you could almost see through it. Almost as if theytried to spread it out to cover more plate. My daughter had the scallops and they were terrific. Food was very good as usual... The frog legs were HUGE and very good! Demonic steak was tender and juicy but the real treat was... the TWICE BAKED POTATO!! It's to die for! Our only complaint if you call it that way was the bar situation. There was nobartender and someone who made our drinks was let's just say, our drinks weren't very good! Way too expensive for the food and experience. The food was great. I had the bacon wrapped fillet mignon but it came... undercooked. Was still great(but not what I ordered). The best part of the meal was the appetizers. Average expensive meals. We were here many years ago and it was more up scale ... meals. Though the food was acceptable, it was not worth the expense. I doubt we will return for another meal. No Covid-19precautions observed. Read more
