Typical Flying J. There was a decent amount of parking at 11pm still available, the facility inside and out was relatively... clean, and the showers had good water pressure and no mold. Read more
We have been stopping at Flying J, buying fuel, propane, food and staying the night for nearly 20 years. We have always... appreciated the dedicated parking spaces out front for RVs. This particular Flying J north of Evansville on I-64 has plenty ofroom for RVs and has been a regular stop for us as we pass through. Unfortunately, like most Flying Js since the merger withPilot several years ago, the RV spaces have become truck parking spaces even though most of them still have prominent signssaying no trucks allowed. We have witnessed this first hand across the country so evidently it indicates a company wide policy.It is their property to allow what they want and we understand that. Thankfully, we were able to ease into an RV spot recentlyand spend a peaceful night surrounded mostly by trucks. We were glad for the spot to rest a few hours. Read more

Never buy anything on the end caps in the store. I purchased a simple $7.00 over priced black writing pen and it didn't work, (I... lost the receipt) this may sound petty, but part of truck driving is service. I asked manager Michelle for an exchange for onethat work, she didn't even here me out she just barked out No can't do it, no receipt no exchange. She probably thought I wantedcash back. The store cashier's are not attentive, distracted. unegaged. Thereafter I had dinner in the Denny's and the younglady was very pleasant, I didn't mind the wait. Kudos to Arianna. After dinner I did make another purchase in the store, InMichelle defense she did give me a sincere apology, for the misunderstanding. Still leave that cheap ish alone on the endcaps I stayed over, went into store. One cashier only was handling all the customers, while 2 other cashier's was standingnearby gossiping about another manager in ear shot to customers. Me and the driver standing behind me was appalled. I spoke upask if someone else could help, Daisy said she could check me out but it wasn't her job. I then advised her it's not a good lookto gossip about other workers with customers waiting. She became rude, and abnoxious.
