I placed my order online for delivery at 6:13pm. The app told me my delivery would arrive around 6:40. I got a call at 7 (almost... an hour after I ordered!) stating they had no delivery drivers so I canceled my order. I understand finding work is hard butseriously, after almost an hour after ordering and charging my card?? The app used to inform us of there were no deliverydrivers. Such a waste of time. My latest experience at Pizza Hut was before food came out late and cold through GrubHub instead of a regular driver.
First we were missing some of our food. The driver refused to bring it back to us. Then they gave us the wrong order. We ordered... a cheed pizza with hand tossed crust. What we got was a thin crust with sausage. Was told to call the store to get ourbreadsticks and complain about the wrong pizza. Was on hold for over 20 minutes with no answer when we called the store. Myhusband then went to the store with the wrong food. They remade the entire order instead of just what was wrong. So we had towait for another 45 minutes on top of the first 45 minutes. Then when we got it home it was still the wrong order. How do youmess up a plain cheese pizza? If you are ordering Online please BEWARE. They do NOT have delivery drivers on staff as of 9-3-2022! They are using door dash... drivers and depending if you tip before it's delivered and if it's it's not a big enough tip They will let your order sit thereand not deliver it. They do not have this posted anywhere online ahead of your order. And if the door dashers refuse to deliveryour order they will offer a refund but you will get it 3-5 days later back onto your card. The lady was nice when she calledbut this should be made aware somewhere online before people pay and order. Also my oder was sitting there for well over a hourbefore I was told anything about this. I ordered pizza at 5:41pm from pizza hut in Haughton via online for delivery. Said it would be delivered at 6:41. At 6:30,... someone from that location called me to tell me they had no pizza hut delivery drivers and that door dash would be deliveringfor me. The person on the phone insured me he would call me within the hour to let me know my pizza was delivered. I was at workand was doing this for my kids. I NEVER received a phone call. I called MULTIPLE TIMES and no one answered the phone. At 8:00, Istarted receiving door dash messages stating my pizza was going to be delivered by a William D. At 7:04. AGAIN, I GOT THISMESSAGE AT 8!! After several door dash messages, me trying to contact the phone number provided for the driver, to no avail., at8:43, I got a text my pizza had been delivered. At this point, we didn't even want it, but I had my child go look and IT WAS NOWHERE TO BE FOUND! I had my mom drive all the way from shreveport to the pizza hut in Haughton since i was at work, so I couldaddress this via telephone. The manager there, was not the one there when I originally ordered but proceeds to tell me my orderwas canceled and never made to be delivered. But yet, I had a receipt, door dash messages and a charge for the amount I paid!!Number 1 if they had no delivery drivers to begin with no one, myself included should have been able to make a delivery orderonline! We have always used this store as it is convenient for us and have never had issues. But I will NEVER use them again, Iwill be calling corporate and I WILL be reimbursed!! Absolutely ridiculous. I ordered delivery. Pizza was cold and stuck to box. (I ordered thin and crispy) I did not get the salad I ordered. Was told I... would have to pick up the salad. When I did they didn't have any Caesar dressing and I wasn't given any other options fordressing. Read more
