Every time I?m in the area, or traveling through on my way... to NH or ME, I make it a point to stop at Benedetti?s for the very freshest and most delicious (and GIANT ?Rocket?) subs theyhand-curate. LOADED with delicious, freshly sliced deli (and other) meats thickly layered, and your choice of scrumptiouscondiments atop freshly baked sub-rolls (baked directly across the street at a neighboring bakery), the taste CANNOT be beat!You?ll be back again and again. Due to my diet I haven't had a sub in about 20 years. My wife and I decided to treat ourselves and help spread some of that... "stimulus" money. I wanted a great Italian sub like I used to have back in the late 60's when I was younger. We got a large Nerowith the same basic toppings I used to have back then. It was awesome, exactly what I was looking for, and HUGE! We had itfor dinner last night and just finished the other half for lunch today. It was just as good today as yesterday. Great sandwiches with quality ingredients and great taste. They are a fantastic value as the large can easily feed two people... and they are absolutely packed with ingredients. Staff was friendly and service was quick. A great place to take out lunch, butthere is no seating so plan ahead and bring the sandwiches home or to the party! Read more
Excellent Deli! A must try, The Chicken Cordon Bleu Supreme! The Cajun fries were extra crispy and nice and hot in a giant... container! The sub was large sub was gigantic they say 18 inches and packed full of everything from lettuce, tomatoes, bananapeppers, hots, bacon, chicken...etc..etc... it's big enough to split with someone! Great place awesome people. Haven't been there since 2005 and lots has changed, but the one thing that hasn't is the outstanding... service and commitment to making the customer feel welcome and happy. This was my go to stop after school almost every singleday high for about 6 years. Best place in the world for subs and the onion rings and to die for. I even got to see my childhoodhome while visiting Haverhill. Read more
