I had the most pleasant experience tonight?my first visit in a very long time since the 1980?s. I was totally impressed by the... quality of the food and especially the knowledge & professionalism of my waiter Justice. As I was scanning the menu for theoldie but goodie items that no longer were offered, such as the old fashioned patty melt and the all American Burger ongrilled white bread, Justice answered all of my questions. He even offered to make me a special all American Burger, which wasout of this world. Now that is high quality customer service, above and beyond. Justice is definitely management material ?courteous, knowledgeable, with excellent customer service skills. I will definitely be frequenting Friendlys again soon! One by one these restaurants are shutting down. Years ago you couldn?t go through a town without seeing at least one or two of... these restaurants. For a long time they kept customers happy, fed, and coming back for more. As a kid you always looked forwardto a Cone Head sundae after lunch or dinner. Friendly's was always a family place where you knew what you were getting and itwas great. NOT ANYMORE. It?s too bad that the current leadership of this company can?t see the trends. The service is alwayshorrible, slow, and unprofessional. They have to know this? Why stay open when they are all dying? They don't care, try, orintervene with issues. If you are ever looking for a modern day freak-show, walk into this restaurant in Haverhill, MA. Theservice is so bad its funny. When we were last at the restaurant, a worker yelled in the middle of eating ?WHO DRIVES A BLUESUV!!!!? Everyone was in shock and nobody answered. Have ZERO clue why she was yelling that, but she did? Bizarre place. Thewaitress?s went around telling people that the head cook ?walked out? so food is delayed- how professional is that!?Weird?. Decided to order Friendly?s to go as we had just came from a bonfire and didn?t want to smell up the restaurant. Get to our... house with 2 Munchie manias for them to have 3 mozzarella sticks and 9 fries. No marinara or sour cream/salsa in sight and spentat least 20 minutes past our pick up time waiting inside for our food. This looks more like a public school lunch than $30+worth of food from a once loved establishment. Read more
