This is a bamboo themed restaurant (as the name suggests). No bamboo related dishes though, but everything we ordered tasted... good. Coconut prawn: very good. Not exactly sure what the dressing was, but it was tasty ???? Salad with papaya seed dressing:very refreshing and fresh. Nothing to complain about Seared ahi tuna: the dish we loved the most. Great spot in Hawaii to eat and take a break after hiking. I got the fish sandwich and wife got the Thai coconut chicken. The... Lilikoi margarita was amazing, well worth the stop! They also have a great gift shop and gallery if you are looking foranything. Read more

Currently they are only serving breakfast and lunch until 230 but they had a sign that said that they were serving dinner on... weekend. I arrived just before they were closing for the day everyone was still very friendly and welcoming. They’re takingall Covid safety precautions including tracing and checking temperatures at the door. They have a very own theme menu and theytypically have a featured fish of the day it may be for the week I’m not sure. I’m excited because I got to come and it wasahi tuna so I ordered the grilled fish sandwich as per the server’s suggestion. DELICIOUS- highly recommend. Ki’ipoi &Violet “Oboe” we’re delightful. WOW. One of the best burgers I have ever had. My family went here for an afternoon lunch and the meal was excellent. The waffle... fries were a nice addition, and it came with a side salad. We also got milkshakes and they were great! Lots of variety to choosefrom. The staff was super friendly. Would definitely go back, and I would highly recommend their burger! They are careful about social distancing, masks and sanitation. The host, food and service are great. My wife was saying things... like "this is good" and I noticed my food disappeared quickly. Read more
After a long hike we were looking for a local restaurant to eat at and ran into bamboo cafe on the way back to the hotel. We... were sad to see they had closed but they still took us in! The service was great and the food was so delicious. The piña coladawas so tasty and I recommend trying their local hot sauce! Definitely recommend!!! Read more
