This restaurant or Stephanie's.... Le Vieux Chateau WINs for tastee food and fresh ingredients. Definitely worth trying if... passing through Hawksbury. A bit pricy but well worth it. Read more

We stopped here for food on our way, at around 7:45. The food was okay, they were a bit under seasoned for our tastes but that... wasn't a big deal because they provided salt, pepper, ketchup... The portion was very good. But we were a little taken back byour waitress, we felt like we were being rushed. We finished our meal around 8:30, and without being asked, we were broughttake-away boxes, our bill, and even when we got our water refilled, she seemed a little displeased. I thought it was almostclosing time so they rushed (which is absolutely fine imo), but the restaurant closed at 10:30 that day. This place is recognizable and consistent. The menu is varied - in fact there are sure to be options for every taste. The... service is always friendly and attentive. It?s always a bonus when a restaurant is able to serve a favourite beer of mine(Beau?s Lug Tread). The servings are plentiful and well presented. We had a large group of people. The food was excellent and the server was great. However I have 2 suggestions. Better parking... signage to let customers know about the delivery only parking. They were rude about our miscommunication and where we parked. Myuncle orderd a blue rare steak but they brought his appetizer at the same time. A blue rare steak is ruined if it is left tosit. Otherwise we had a wonderful time and will go back. Read more
