I ordered through the drive thru and they got my order wrong. I drove 30 min home and saw it was wrong. I called and they said... they would refund me and make me a new one. When I got there I was informed that I either got a new sandwich or a refund. Ichose the refund. I wanted both to make up for the time and gas to get back and they denied. I will never be back Read more

Order the Pastrami and Turkey on dark rye w/Pepper Jack cheese and all the fixings. The sandwich was toasted. It was amazing.... Stuffed full of meats and toppings, and sooo very fresh. The staff was awsome . I showed up close to closing time, but they didn'tmiss a beat. Very helpful, professional and polite. Great job team. Looking forward to my next visit. Read more

Excellent sandwiches made to order. Although they claim to be San Francisco sourdough, if you've ever had the real thing you'll... know that it's a good effort that they put in but it's not quite the same. I would definitely recommend trying them if you likeSan Francisco sourdough because it's about as close as you're going to get this far north to The real McCoy. Read more

Best old fashioned sourdough sandwich around. The bread they use is the best! Lots of meat and try a big dill pickle while... you're there. One of my favorites. Read more

First, this place is located inside a gasoline station. Now I've had some wonderful food from gasoline stations and traveling... around the United States and the world over the past 65 years, but it's never the most beautiful setting. Often, the atmosphereis tainted with the smell of old gasoline and stale customers. Fortunately, that's not the case here. The restaurant is actuallyvery clean, as is the entire station. As for the food, it's okay. Nothing fabulous, nothing it would make me say yeah let's gothere because it's really really extra good. But, it'll get you through the day if you're just traveling through. Now, I haveeaten at some restaurants in gasoline stations where that was the reason you went. You didn't really care about the gasoline orthe groceries. You cared about the barbecue and the beer. I'm thinking now of Rudy's in Texas. I've also eaten at some fishplaces where the fish was the reason to show up. Fried Chicken the same. Not this place. It could be if they really wanted toput the dog on, hire some help who are conversational, they could actually make this a really good place to eat. I just thinkthey look at it as a side business rather than a real restaurant business. The sandwiches are tasty and fairly well made. Thesides are usually things you pick up in the store. There's nothing special about the service, unless you like poor service, thenit's really special. I realize that many people working in a place like this this is their first job, but, there's got to besomeone there to train them how to be good sales people, friendly, and a welcoming voice when you're tired and run out from theroad. It may just be a management problem, it may just be I picked a bad day to go. I would like to see them do better, and Iwould especially like to see them have things like . . . oh, sourdough bread? It is great to have a QSR out here on this end of town, and having the somewhat healthy San Francisco Sourdough Eatery is... awesome! However...we showed up 15 min to 6pm on a Saturday night (earliest SSD store closing in the area) and the customerservice was not great. Apparently they close at 6pm. Hard to fathom closing at 6 on Saturday night in July. So we tipped 20%,ahead of the service and still were treated like we were puttingthem out, even though we were there a full 15 min. prior toclose and we took it to go,so they didn't have to clean up after us. They were a 5 star prior, only 4 now. If this was my onlyexperience here I would have given a 3. Read more

Started out in the drive thru and there was no movement after 10 minutes. Pulled into the parking lot and went inside. 5... clueless people working. The 2 trucks that were in front of us in drive thru left. Ordered a turkey sandwich with lettuce, tomato, Swiss cheese and no mayo just mustard. There was hardly any meat on the sandwich and so much mustard it was almostinedible. See pictures. Read more
