I like me some Rib Country as it's a great place for some quick barbecue. The food is always good and the side are pretty good... as well. I would recommend the ribs hence Rib Country with the slaw as you can't go wrong with that combo. It's more like aregional chain than a whole in the wall barbecue joint but it's still really good and would recommend to anyone needing abarbecue fix. Read more

Used to go to Rib County from time to time on Sundays several years ago but this was the first time in recent years. This... location specifically is where I would go. On this day, it was way past lunch, before dinner. Food was good, not great. I hadthe turkey sandwich. The baked potato (seen in the photos) looked like it had been under the lamp for a while, but I get it,they were in between service times. It's a good spot for some after-church comfort food. Usually when i go to Rib Country i get the pulled pork which is good but this time i ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. It... was not fully cooked and i was expecting one large piece of chicken and instead it was a few small grilled chicken tenders. I visited this establishment during the summer time while visiting Murphy, NC. I have pictured the Onion Loaf. In addition, my... significant other and I split a rack of ribs. In all honesty, we thought that it was just ok. The Onion Loaf was fantastic! Itwas similar to onion rings but in loaf form. I would highly recommend this. Do mind that it is quite large and will feed manypeople. The ribs were not that great. The meat did not fall off the bone and the flavor just was not there. If you want great ribs this is the place to go. I ordered a half rack of the domestic ribs. You can see from the pictures that... would be a full rack any where else. They are always busy. However, it's well worth the wait! For smaller portions you canorder the lunch size platter. What ever you order make sure you try the baked beans. Read more
In some places, you don't give second chances. I had ordered a " Med Rare" steak from here in the past, and the pure cook came... out and asked me how long is he suppose to cook it for!! And, of course, it came out overcooked. So this week, I gave themanother chance. I told the waitress my experience last time and asked if they had a better cook. She said yes, he was good. So Iorder the steak Rare just in case because of the past. That way, if it's not done enough, they can cook it more. So she bringsthe steak out and it's well done!
