Great service but no flavor; no salt, no seasoning; far from Mexican food.

I have eaten here several times when I am in the area. Great chips & salsa with a small spicy kick to the tongue. Ordered... fajitas and they have excellent flavor, not overly done with soy sauce in the marinade like some places. The enchiladas are agood choice as well. Never been disappointed with the menu items. Wish they had a spot in my home town. Read more

Great food with friendly staff. They even accommodated a custom burrito for me that wasn't on the menu for a quick lunch.

Make sure to bring your appetite for quality very fairly priced Mexican food. I was really surprised by this place. We were... staying in a cabin about 40 min away and wanted Mexican. We were shocked by the huge portions and everything was fresh anddelicious. Total price (no alcohol) $40!!! Read more

Nice large menu. Not busy for a late lunch. Food was very good. Large portions too, at least the burrito was. Service was a tad... on the slow side, but was in no hurry. I recommend and would go back myself. Read more

The food is excellent, but I didn't give 5 stars for a reason. My friend told me about this place. She had never been there... but said it always seems busy with cars parked down the road. The parking lot fills up quickly. I was skeptical when shesuggested it for dinner because its a Mexican restaurant down in Haymarket. How good could it be? I agreed to try it,reluctantly. She lives walking distance from this place so we headed there on foot and got there just before 5pm. As weapproached, I could smell the Aroma of tasty Mexican food which got me excited. We were immediately greeted and seated when wearrived. The place was warm, cozy, with festive decor. So far so good. Here is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. We were servedchips and salsa, with our drinks as we waited to order our entrees. There were empty booths when we arrived so the place wasnot as busy as I was expecting. I don't know what happened but it seems our waiter forgot about us. It took about 30 minutes forhim to return and take our order. Slowly, the place started to fill up. Within minutes there was a crowd of people near theentrance, some stretching their necks looking for seats. It got loud, smokey (from the fajitas) and crowded. The servers weredoing their best (thank you Mario) but I wish the restaurant would have a better process in place for controlling theovercrowding. We are still dealing with a pandemic and it's not a good thing having all these people crowded inside a smallrestaurant. Over an hour later, our food arrived. It was sizzling hot and delicious. I had the fajita del Mar. My friend hadthe tilapia y camarones. The food was absolutely delicious. I now understand the crowding but they need to do something aboutthe crowds. Read more

Best Mexican food in the Northern Virginia area. Delicious flavors, big portions, great service and at affordable prices. I... would definitely recommend them. I got the carnitas and shrimp platter with queso and chorizo smothered on top. It was superdelicious and to die for. So many different flavor profiles in one dish. Their adult drink was strong and not watered down likemost establishments. My server, Ramiro provided great service. He was very attentive and fast. Read more

A nice local Mexican restaurant! Has the authentic vibes and reasonably priced Mexican food. Service was good and fast. Don't... expect something super fancy like Uncle Julios. Comes with free chips and salsa upon being seated. We had the lunch combos, which were delicious! We also got the guacamole appetizer, which was cheap, but pretty mediocre. Definitely a spot that hits thecraving. Read more
