New York Style pizza by the slice or pie. Their menu has a wide variety, if you aren't a huge pizza fan, but your family or... friends are in favor of it. Place was clean and service was good but the pizza was subpar. Pizza was kind of doughy and lacked a good flavor. I am puzzled... at how it is possible to swing and miss on such a basic food but here it is. Such a disappointment as the place seems well runand maybe I just got a botched pizza but I have to grade based on what I received. We tried a bit of everything, chicken wings, spaghetti, lasagna, and cheese pizza. The best thing was the pizza. The crust had... nice flavor the sauce was balanced well and the cheese was stringy. It wasn't outstanding pizza but it was good enough for aFriday night. The chicken wings were a bit under cooked. The skin was tough and the insides tougher. The lasagna wasdisappointing. The only thing good about it was the noodles. The meat was not flavorful. The whole dish needed more seasoning.The texture of the components were not pleasing. I believe it was the type of cheese used. The spaghetti was spaghetti. Thenoodles were good and the sauce could have come from anywhere. Nothing to write home about but could be a satisfying meal. I stopped in here for a late lunch after an appointment and I was pleasantly surprised. This pizzeria offers a large variety of... pizzas and their building is so clean. I wasn't expecting much because the prices were very affordable, dare I say, cheap. Iquickly noticed upon my 1st bite that the ingredients used were high quality! The sauce was fantastic and they use freshingredients for their toppings. They offer a large variety of thin and thick crust pizzas, subs, and calzones as well as offer awide variety of drinks. This reminds me of a pizzeria that I used to take my children and their ball team to for the end of theseason pizza party. I've learned over the years that it's hard to find restaurants that serves such quality at a veryaffordable price. This place is definitely a fantastic find and is a well hidden gem of haymarket. I was impressed with the variety and customer service here. There was a small mistake in my order and instead of telling me... that they will just discount it, they quickly fixed it with a smile. They should be embarrassed and ashamed of themselves! This is ABSOLUTELY NOT what I would call an Italian sub with “the... works”! Dry as a bone and barely any tomato or lettuce on it. As soon as I walked in, I should have left just as fast. Theowner (I believe) was very stand- offish and could have cared less about the customers walking into this restaurant. What ashame! Oh. My. Golly. The lasagna is the best I’ve ever had. It tasted so fresh. I’m not sure how lasagna can be so filling but... also so light and not roll me out of the restaurant heavy. It was also a great deal at $12. Easily enough for two meals. Read more

Valentino's is a typical NY pizza joint. I tried a slice of cheese. It was good. The crust was thin with a good mix of chewy and... crunchy. You have to try the pepperoni pinwheels. They were amazing! These are soft, cheesy, gooey goodness! We liked them somuch we went back the next day for more. The marinara and ranch were solid too. They have a good variety of pizza,salads androlls. Definitely will go back. My only complaint was they used a microwave to help warm up the food prior to putting it intothe pizza oven. Read more
