Great place to go for Taco Tuesday for date night. Margaritas were tasty and Chicken Street Tacos were excellent.
Lot's of places to eat in Hayes, we like Mexican, so we went to Gutierrez Mexican Restaurant. It was getting near closing on a... Thursday night, but we got seated right away and they took our orders. Lots of atmosphere, but a bit dark. That 32 oz limeMargarita was so good. We got served after a bit. My wife order the Chicken quesadilla and I ordered the Sancho Grande. TheSancho Grande seemed to be a seasoned beef filled burrito smothered with red chile w/beef. Yes! PINTOS beans. Who likes blackbeans. The beef chile was almost hot enough, but very well seasoned and flavorful. Read more
This place has the worst Chicken Fajitas I've ever eaten. Jalisco's is WAY BETTER. The chicken was gristley and tasted... horrible, the lettuce was getting old, all the ingredients seemed like they were purchased at a discount grocery store. Neveragain! Read more
This is the worst Mexican food I've ever had. My chimichunga was suppose to be fried but turned out only barely browned on the... bottom and meat was tasteless. Husband fajita was more of a burrito. Not at all like any fajita he's had any where. Read more
Stopped in while driving though town. This place has great food at a good price. I also like how they give you two different... types of salsa with the chips and salsa. Both were great! Would say this is pretty authentic, great, Mexican food. Read more
I've ate here a few times over the years. This place must be under new management. The food has more flavor, and the portion... sizes are almost doubled. Price has also went up, but that's everywhere though. Really pleased with this outing here. Read more
Had late lunch on a Saturday and it was surprisingly busy. All the same food was hot and fresh. Wait staff is always friendly... and attentive. Kid's portions are appropriately sized (so often, places give kids way too much). If you like it spicy, be sureto ask for a few containers of the "green sauce"! Read more
