I didn't have to wait to get seated however I asked for two waters and only received one. And another reviewer said they had... chili rellenos. I did not see that on the menu anywhere. Food compared to the price was not that great. And it took me foreverto get a water I finally had to go up to the counter and ask for one. Read more
Found this spot because we were storing our stuff at a facility nearby. It?s a solid spot for breakfast with nice staff and... friendly service. Standard diner fare with a Mexican twist that tastes good and has large portions. Read more
I am normally very patient and not a picky eater, but this place took at least 40 minutes to get us and omlette and an order of... pancakes. The spinach in my "garden" omlete was exactly that, including the soil it was grown in -- it wasn't washed properlyand I almost chipped my tooth. I could tell that the ingredients they use are all with the intent to cut cost, and so the foodtasted very bad. I highly do NOT recommend this place and will never come here again. You might not be able to tell but this plate is big and plated generously. I've been to plenty of Mexican restaurants before and... usually can tell from the first bite if I'm going to enjoy the rest of it. And boy that first bite was amazing in every singleway possible. I thoroughly enjoyed this simple meal. Of course, it was a bigger plate so I took the rest home! The funny thingis, my husband and I originally stopped here for breakfast but we couldn't resist! The food was delicious. I was there for breakfast and they were busy but the services was fast. I was in and out of there within... approximately 40 minutes. I have the French toast with bacon, two eggs, and a Mexican chocolate. The food was not greasy and itwas hot (hot food is always great!) the portions are big and the price is just about right. If you eat a lot that portions areperfect. The parking lot is small and it has wheelchair access. The only issue was that I was sitting right next to a familywith two small children who keep on just screaming on my ear while sitting on the back on the booth that I was. Nothing to duewith the restaurant but it was frustrating and annoying. I Recommended 100%. Read more
A great throw back to 70's dining with a Denny's like experience. Friendly local diner, lots of Spanish speakers and families... raving about the food. Big plates, amazing job spicing and crisping those country fried potatoes and I got a close up. Theydon't open till 7:00 so I will never make that breakfast special price that they do not offer on Saturdays. Slightlyunderstaffed and waitress tries really hard with good attitude. My boyfriend and I went for brunch, we ordered the same thing plus one strawberry milkshake. The milkshake was delicious and we... both shared it, the portion was enough. However, my breakfast sucked! The butter was cold and hard, it barely melted on mypancakes. My pancakes got super cold because of that. My eggs were supposed to be over easy but they were very rare that thewhites ran all over my hash browns as soon as I cut through with the spoon. My eggs ruined my hash browns and my bacon was soovercooked, they tasted like chicharrones. I felt, I needed a beer with my bacon lol The only ok part of my breakfast plate werethe breakfast sausages. My boyfriend's plate, on the other hand, was on point. It's like the chef saw what he/she did on thefirst and did better on the second. Well, getting service there took a bit, I finally let the waitress know, and she kindly tookmy order off the bill. I didn't finish my breakfast, we paid and tipped her and left. I wish my plate was like my boyfriend's,it would've been great ???? Anywho, I doubt I'll return, thank you. Read more
