Once again I credit Yelp & Google (always cross-check!) for finding me another fantastic restaurant I might not have ever found... otherwise. Ghazni is the best Afghan Kabobs in this area, hands down. We tried the combo platter and the lamb, so we were ableto taste a little bit of everything. The chicken, the beef, chapli - all were extremely flavorful and tender. The lamb was alsofull of flavor and very tender. The cuts of meat and the preparation were perfection. The portions were enough to take homeleftovers. We'd already planned on coming back before we even left. The only negative about this place was the long wait forour food after placing our order. Service is lackluster, like a family that doesn't really want to be there. Luckily they keptthe warm bread coming and the food was so delicious once it arrived, that it negated taking off a star for this. Look for streetor side-street parking. Read more

Great place for a quick bite. Outside seating is cozy not very fancy place but food is great, Taste makes up for it. Prices are... very decent. Must try! Read more

I ordered the Qabuli Pulau, which is rice over lamb shank. It was good, not the best Qabuli Pulau I had though! There were some... chunks of rice, which are not supposed to be! The Bolani was also good, even though there were some black burnt pieces on some.We sat outside, due to a strong smell of some sort of a cleaning product I guess. The service was mainly just for taking theorder and bringing the feed and the bill, and not checking for what else we need. It is a decent place with good food and I willgo again! Read more

Delicious Afghan food with a small-medium outdoor patio. Kitchen was a little slow but it was worth the wait. We especially... enjoyed the Bolani appetizer. Read more

Nice outdoor seating and right on A street with easy street parking. Service was very odd, we never saw a waiter as the owner... indicated that they’ll be out soon. Anytime we needed anything, we went inside and asked the owner and he seemed surprisedthat we were not served. We were the only customers dining. We ordered the lamb kebab skewers and the squash kaedoo. The lambwas excellent with nice char and flavor but the kaedoo was too bland. It needed something more. The bread and rice were good. First timers here, I just randomly chose this place from a quick review of Afghan places near our friends house. Seems like some... of the bad reviews and criticisms revolve around religious issues which thankfully I have zero allegiance to or interestin. None of us had been here before and three of us never had Afghani food. Four diners, four different ethnicities and nopreconceptions. With that said, we were all very happy with our meals which were simply delicious. We had the potato Bolani(generous portion). Lamb Kabob plate Beef Kabob plate Chicken Kabob plate Chicken curry plate I didn't try the lamb but my beefwas just great, been thinking about it since. Tender, moist and wonderfully seasoned. I brought it home as leftovers and my 11year old devoured it. The chicken kabob ranks up there with my favorite with Zareens and Mazra. Honestly like this better thanMazra and was more tender than Zareens, but very good. Chicken curry was nice and mild, easy for anyone to eat andflavorful. The yogurt based salad dressing was delicious. The Bolani was good and was a generous portion, definitely enough forfour to share along with the meal. We all live a good 40 minutes away or longer with traffic but o I can't wait to come backhere again! Read more

We ordered $130 of food for takeout including a beef and chicken combo and a lamb and takeout combo(because we had someone who... didn’t eat beef). They didn’t label the lamb or beef unfortunately and I’m pretty sure they’re both beef. When we calledin, they said that we could bring it back into the restaurant and they can smell it and tell us which is which. DESPITE thehealth and safety violation in the middle of a pandemic, when we just asked for a replacement, they said that we’d need to payfor it. When I said we’re not paying for a replacement on an incorrect order, they hung up on us. I can’t tell you how muchI advise staying far away from here. Response to vendor: That is completely out of line with what I was told over the phone. Iwas told that it was our fault for not requesting that the meals be labelled which should be standard. I was also told that ifwe wanted our order fixed, we would need to pay for the replacement. After I made it extremely clear that I wasn't paying extrato get the correct order, the employee hung up on me. The food was already thrown away because the meat was in contact with therest of the food. On top of that, I have no interest in a new order at this point if the employee that answered my phone offeredto SMELL my food in the middle of a pandemic to tell me which is which. I worry about the safety and health codes that theentire restaurant follows at this point Read more

This place has the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. We placed an order for 5 plates totaling in over $100 today.... Two of our plates look exactly the same but one order was chicken and lamb combo verses other was chicken and lamb. Neither ofthe orders were labeled so I called to ask if they can remake one because I’m Hindu and we don’t eat beef products. The guyon the phone kept telling me to sniff the plates and ill be able to tell the difference. I told him I don’t want to take thechance and would prefer if he could just remake my one plate out of the 5 plates we ordered. The guy on the phone said he cancharge me for a new plate but couldn’t replace the order since I DIDN’T TELL HIM TO LABEL THE PLATES. Why would I tell himto label the plates that’s just common practice amounts restaurant’s. He then continued to tell me to bring the plates inand he can SNIFF THE MEATS TO TELL ME THE DIFFERENCE. I told him that’s unhygienic and I’m not going to have him sniff myfood during covid especially. He told me he could charge me for a new plate and hung up the phone while I was talking. I’mextremely disappointed that we even gave them our business in the first place. Being that this is a Muslim restaurant you wouldthink they under the importance of practicing religious restrictions. If you went to a restaurant and they have you pork andsimilar meat and told you to trust them based on them just sniffing the food how would you feel being that you’re a halalrestaurant. This was the worst customer experience I’ve had in a very long time! I love supporting local small businesses buthonestly this place is trash! Read more
