This was my 1st time trying Nigerian food. I tried egusi soup w/ goat meat and fufu. (I decided to go all out for the... experience). I also tried jollof Rice. The egusi soup was amazing! 10/10! The Jollof Rice tasted a bit like Mexican rice withmore pungent spices. I'd rate that a 7/10. The fufu will have to grow on me. 5/10 Overall, I really enjoyed my experience, andwould definitely return. Read more

It's obvious you'll find Chinese , Mexican, Indian, or Italian restaurants in any community, but have you ever thought about... African restaurants? Golden Safari provides a wide selection of African cuisine on their menu - including goat and white rice.Of course, they also provide chicken, beef, and fish, like many other restaurants. They also cater to any events you hold orattend! Savor the flavour of these tribal meals right at home, at work, or at any event you attend! Read more

This... time I ordered the efo riro and it was so delicious and fresh , I also orders the pounded yam, I was so full but I kept eatingbecause it was so good. Ordered egusi and fufu for take out. It?s my first time trying Nigerian food but I loved it!!! They make everything fresh and... the flavors were so delicious. I didn?t know what to expect from the fufu but was pleasantly surprised by the taste and texture.I?d come again to try more dishes. The staff was friendly too as I waited. Read more

Got there at 2:15 with my parents after an appointment. Got a menu and sat. The lady explained the dishes asked about. I read to... call ahead an hour, but you can't do that if you never had that type of food. The restaurant is decorated nice. Clean, nice arton the walls. Simple, but perfect. 2 televisions to watch while waiting. We ordered the egusi with beef, comes with fufu, jolloff, beans(black eyes peas), small side of plantains, goat. We waited at least an hour, if not more. They give you napkins, forks and forks and spoons. Cost us a whopping $82 + change for 3 people. We get the food home. We went here because the ravemy son gave it. The egusi, good, I got mild and my parents got spicy. Thank God for a place that offers that. Everyone calledeat spicy. The beef in the egusi was tough. My parents confirmed it was spicy. Jolloff rice was good. Now, had we know how muchyou get in the container, we would have been good with 2, as the price was expensive. The beans....mom hated it. I didn't carefor it either. No seasoning, definitely no salt and didn't seemed cooked all the way. Previously, my son raved about them. Guesswe went the wrong day. Small container. After the next day, after heating up and little seasoning, definitely tastedbetter. The goat- I thought it was good, my mom didn't like it. Just got a side. The plantains-They were terrible. Didn'teven share with my parents, they were so bad. Didn't taste fresh AT ALL. Tasted like cooked the prior day and maybe under a heatlamp, if that. I felt not even a airfryer could help. In the end too expensive for what we got. As long as we waited, shouldhave been been fresher. Read more
