Food seemed really dry today and salt was missing in most of the food. What a disappointment. Our first order here back in July... was very good... so I'm hoping today was just a once off... Read more

We were looking for some nice Biryani spot in Hayward and decided to a try. We had requested out Biryani to be spicy, and while... picking up the ordered double checked if it was spicy and the response was "I think so." The biryani itself looked appetizing. However, there were very less pieces of goat in the biryani and mostly bones. The biryani wasn't spicy, and was salt less. FYI,seems like the biryani doesn't come with any raita or salan. Read more

They all good. I love photo menus too, all the dishes look great on the wall menu. I tried a Karahi style curry, pretty awesome,... and the tandoori chicken was even tastier than Pakwans. I will go back for sure! Read more

I've been eating Indian food since I was about 3 years old. I went here and ordered some of my favorites that I thought would be... universally good. Chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, mutter paneer, veggie biryani, a mango lassi, and an order of their kabobs. The customer service was fast and lovely, but the food... ???? First of all, the kabobs are 1 per order? That's 5$ for a kabobso dry I choked on it. The garlic naan was super dry and hard to tear up to dip in the curry, it was like cardboard. The currieswere super salty and not spicy at all. Maybe they saw me and thought I couldn't handle real spicy food despite my asking formedium spicy? The biryani tasted like they didn't put any spices in it, and when I was eating it, I nearly cracked my tooth on ameat bone that they put in the biryani... the *vegetable* biryani... is this not adding up for anyone else? I feel so bad forany vegans/vegetarians who order from here just for this reason alone. The mango lassi was the best but still superdisappointing. It was again super flavorless and barely tasted like mango. My dad enjoyed the food, but I definitely didn't.I'll be sticking with Favorite Indian from now on. Read more

Went there with friends. And sat in open area. It was bit cold so they placed heater as well. Didn't had any issues in ordering... and service. Namkeen Karhai is their signature item. So must try and very close to the one served in Peshawar. One reminderthough, if you plan to visit and try Namkeen Karhai, order 1 hour prior to visit as they make it fresh and it takes about anhour to cook it. Other menu items are decent as well. If you go there, sitting outside is nice but carry a jacket as it can getcold in the evening. Nice spacious place to have a large get together as well. Highly recommended for Karhai. Read more
