Brought a group (relatively short notice) to Coop's. Lovely restaurant with a variety of seating options inside & out. We opted... for inside. They were very accommodating for our group of 16. Most in our party enjoyed the lunch buffet, including soup, bread,salads, and pizza. The consensus on the pizza was a 4 star. I opted for gluten free pizza with black olives and sausage. A 10'is enough for for 2 of us to share. I was impressed that the gluten free pizza (which comes in 10" or 12" was only $1 upcharge)it was an excellent pizza, however our edges were burned. I recommend this place for families with small kids as the pizza &buffet work well for young & old alike! They serve Pepsi products for those of you who prefer Coke. New owners and very pleasant people! Pizza buffet was fantastic, salad bar and soup?although today my focus was pizza. They no... longer sell beef and menu prices on line have not updated yet with their printed material. No worries it?s worth the wait. The food here is really awesome, but you need to be patient and wait for your food. Don't come here if you have a pregnant wife... who's ready to eat immediately, but if you've got the time for the line and slow service, you won't be disappointed. The pizzais especially good, but the salad bar and soup bar are awesome too. Next time I will know what kind of wait to expect, and I'llbe happy to come again. Read more
Love the salad soup and pizza buffet! We arrived after two but just in time for the buffet. Great pizza and the salad buffet... had all my favs. Too hot for soup today. Great value!! 8.99 per person. We got an order to go; cheese pizza and sausage and pepperoni. The pizza was okay. There was too much pizza sauce for my liking... and the pizza seemed generally sauggy. Wife really liked it though. One thing that is not really their fault but I hate, is thatthe cheese had melted back together so it was like one single pizza, and we didn't have any utensils or pizza cutter, so we hadto pull every piece apart by hand and with it being a so sauggy it was a big mess. Be aware of time, they close at 7pm! We had plenty of time to eat and the pizzas were good. I'm just visiting family in Hayward... but this is supposed to be one of the best pizza in town. The pizzas were good and the add on for salad and soup bar made itbetter. Glad they cut it in a square so we can share easier too which was nice. I had a glass of beer which they put in a coldglass so it was nice and cold. Read more
This is a really nice restaurant. Very open inside. The place was hopping busy. Any the staff was on point. I?d love to 5... star here but the food just didn?t hold up to the atmosphere. Paid $30.45 for a 16 inch pizza that was very runny and soggy. My wife got the Italian beef, she said it was O.K. My son didn?t even finish his burger. He said the chips were the bestthing on his plate. Maybe it was to busy for the kitchen when we were there. I?ll try it again in the future, maybe the diningexperience will be different. Read more
