Went to a benefit, was great, had music outside, plenty of room for everyone! Great drinks, food, fun.

Probably a great place to go, but the water was down 4 feet when we were there so the fishing was atrocious. Barely caught... enough to have a dinner there, nothing went home with us. Very crowded, didn't really have that wilderness feel at all. On theplus side, the restaurant and bar are fantastic, staff is cool and accommodating and food/drink prices are very reasonable.Cabins were minimalist, bathrooms very small and beds were decently comfortable. Had a good stay because of the restaurant andstaff, just wish the fishing had been better. Read more
I had an accident with a deer and ended up at this resort. Lisa, the owner, is incredibly friendly and helped me get through a... rough time. She was able to help with the police, towing and even let me use her personal phone for over an hour. Inaddition, the guests were also top notch as I managed to make some new friends. Listen, reviews should be about the people andthis place has tons of great people. You can't go wrong by supporting Musky Tales. Read more
Best pizza in all of the flowage! We love to stop here for a solid meal when we are in town. It's a good size space and a nice... atmosphere. Of course there are some fun taxidermy things to look at, too. Read more
Been coming here for almost 14 years now. The drinks are strong and cheap, the food is fantastic, the view of the flowage is... stunning, and it's only 15/20 minutes from Hayward. Quiet, affordable, friendly, and beautiful. What more can you ask for? Read more
