Driving through Hayward on our way to the UP and stopped for a late lunch. Three in our party; great service, great food and... great prices! The giant pretzel served with two cups of hot cheese was soft, hot and delicious; the two different kinds ofcheese was perfect. French fries are hot, not greasy, homemade and seasoned well. Loved the chili dog; incredible as was thebacon burger. $42 including two drinks. Wish we lived in the area so we could enjoy it every month. Read more
We were a party of 6 adults and 2 children. We picked this restaurant while on vacation and my daughter looked at their website... and ?wanted those fabulous looking French fries?. North woods turned out to be fabulous and delicious! We had a variety of foodfrom salads to hamburgers to kids meals and everything was fantastic! We enjoy burgers n fries very much and recommend it to visitors. However, we are dining tonight and in walks people with a big... German shepherd type dog! We don?t feel it is sanitary to bring in any animals to an eating establishment other than servicedogs. This is not a service dog. Upon checking with WI guidelines, animals are not allowed inside eating establishments. Sincepeople in general don?t use their brains, a sign is required by ownership. Read more
We had some delicious burgers at Northwoods burgers. You could tell that they were a little bit understaffed. Our order for... five took 41 minutes. Everyone was happy when the food arrived and we are planning to come back next year when we're in town. Read more
Tried this joint out on our way back from Bayfield, loved it. Their peanut butter burger was awesome! Fries are housemade too... which is awesome, just know they seem to be cooked very well done, so if you like your fries like that (which I do) their prettysolid, but if not you may not like them as much. Will def be back to this place when driving through again! Read more
We had an overall very bad experience. 13 dollars for a single frozen patty, without sides. Staff were out of it. The lady... that seated us, told us 10 minutes later no one told her we were there. They only had two tables including us seated. Theother waitress dropped 3 glasses of ice water on my son. They don't accept cards, and it's not on the menu. I have to sayavoid it, way overpriced mediocre food, horrible service, dingy run down interior. None of this justifies their prices. Read more
Seated quickly, with kind and cheerful host then met with a friendly server. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. Our... orders came quickly and all of the food was excellent! The loaded tots seemed endless and decadent cooked perfectly and not atall soggy under all the toppings. The Picante burger was served at the correct temperature hot on the plate with a load ofperfectly fried hand cut fries. Both had excellent flavor. This burger spot will certainly become a must visit whenever I amup in the Wisconsin area. Read more
Burgers were good. Fries were terrific. Order fries with your meal, otherwise you will spend $8 for fries only and get way too... many. We were told about the size but not the price. Menu says $4 Read more
