First time customers. Location is great. We were greeted right away when we arrived. Immediately sat at a table on the... beautiful patio overlooking the lake. Very pleasant server. Drinks and food came out quickly. After eating, we finished up ourvisit with several of the "yard games" that were set up for their customers. Very clean and well kept. Would definitely comeback. Ended up ?lunching? here while on a convertible road trip! SCORE!!! The cheese burger was delish-juicy and done to absolute... perfection. We really like the limited menu selection-not so overwhelming. Beautiful lake view from the patio, their summerhanging baskets are lovely, families playing all kinds of yard games, just a perfect meal to wind up a 3 day road trip. It was afun place to be. The Friday Fish Fry (You can get baked also) never disappoints! The fish is wild caught Canadian Walleye. The beer batter is... light and crispy with flaky and tender Walleye inside. The fries are crispy on the outside and tender inside. The tater sauce isdefinitely NOT from a jar. Definitely a MUST if you're in the Hayward area! Read more
Our first time here was great! Gyro was delicious but my favorite part was the kids color table. ???? such a cute unique touch... to a restaurant... Not often you go somewhere where they have extra stuff for kids. Helped me relax a little more knowing my 2year old had something to do. Read more
It gets better every time we go! They added a walleye fish fry and it is fantastic - a huge filet. The new owners are doing a... great job, especially given the difficulty finding reliable help these days. It was great to see it packed on Sunday. Our waitwas short and I didn't see anyone else wait more than one drink. They added a big yard games area to play while you wait. Keepup the great work! I only have good things to say about Powell?s on Round Lake. As someone who has had a cabin next to this prime piece of land in... Richardson Bay, we?ve been here through Famous Dave?s, Prop?s Landing, and now Powell?s. Powell?s takes the top spot (evenwithout Dave?s cornbread). This place has great vibes, even better service (shoutout to Shane, Zach, and Pat!), and games!! I?mtalking 301 Gotcha (darts), Keno and slot machines, pull tabs, the addicting coin game, etc. Also no one on this lake worksharder than Heidi. I see her every time we?re there. She makes us feel so welcome every time she smiles our way. And they haveWest?s ice cream?I really hope Powell?s is here to stay! P.S. if you?re looking for a night cap on the lake with amazing WhiteRussians, look no further. Have I even mentioned their gyro yet? And cheese curds! Our 1st time at Powell's and looking forward to another visit. Had the Lakeside Tacos and regular Gyro. Definitely recommend... both, esp the fish taco. Great service and patio. Read more
