We came in when it wasn't busy. Service was pretty good. Yet again the food was excellent just like most eateries up here in... this area. The deep fried steak bites are delish. Kathy the owner even came over and introduced herself, very nice lady. It'snice to see that they have a charlie pull tab machine too! Had to update review since the new owners took over: Pizza isexcellent, and the amount of food you get is well worth the price. Give the new owners a try. You wont be disappointed. Read more
It's a fun small town atmosphere. The employees were great, but they never returned to ask if we wanted a refill on our beer.... They allowed us to taste test beer before ordering a full one, which was awesome! The pizza was absolutely incredible! It tookquite a bit of time for it to come out, but once it did, it was worth it. I had a great time eating amazing food at your bar & grill. The homemade pizza, and the Broasted Chicken is the best I have had... in Hayward. The atmosphere under new owner (Butch) was awesome, and the staff were committed to great service and outwardlyvery friendly. Read more
We've eaten here several times with friends and family under the new ownership. The burgers, fish sandwich, sausage pizza,... broasted chicken, gluten free pizza and appetizers were all delicious! Servers were attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Theowner came by to ensure that my food allergies were accommodated by the kitchen. I'm usually not a fan of cauliflower crustpizza however I've had the pizza twice and both times it tasted amazing! The owner said they are remodeling this fall - can'twait to see the changes! 6/11/22 We arrived around opening time and got a table. It was Saturday night and they have live music later. My husband... got the half broasd chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy and coleslaw, and I ordered the sausage pizza. Since it was near openingtime the food arrived fast. My husband said it was the best broasted chicken he has ever had. And the same went for thepotatoes, gravy, and coleslaw. I LOVED the pizza. Last night I had pizza at another restaurant and said it was the best I'veever had, and now here is another Italian masterpiece and I feel it's the best ever too They have different crusts and saucesand I love them both! This one had incredible sausage in nice bite size pieces on it. The owner was the chef for the night andalso brought the food to the table. He has the sausage custom made from a local butcher...WOW.....it is delicious! Every nightwe try a different place and every night beats anything, ..,except Murray's in MPLS,...that we have had in the last two years.Hats off to Wisconsin! We will be back! Read more
Stopped here for fish fry. Busy but there were a couple of seats open. I had the baked and my friend had deep fried. Both were... very good. Came with excellent coleslaw and amazing baby red potatoes. I believe it was $15 pp. Bartender and one waitress. Theywere busy but attentive. Bartender said they are opening an ice cream counter as well shortly. Can't wait! Read more
Finally had the opportunity to stop into Fish tales and were pleasantly surprised the renovated interior. It has a horseshoe... shaped bar and a dinning area that is slightly separated from the bar area. We had some tap beers that we don't just seeanywhere, and had some tasty fries and wings to go along with that. We saw pizzas coming out of the kitchen that had usinterested in trying that next time we go there. Read more
