Service was so bad we didn't even stay to eat. From the bartender/owner to the hostess and the server, this is the worst... experience I have ever had. The place is quaint inside and the food may be good but we were treated so badly we just couldn'tstay another minute. Bartender/owner was rude - we heard other people commenting on his rudeness as well - And because weordered an appetizer at the bar while waiting for a table, the server assumed we were just going to sit at her table and notorder. We assured her we were both ordering dinner her attitude improved. Hostess was beyond rude - had a question about themenu and she swooped over, grabbed the menu and pointed at the item I was asking about and threw the menu back on the tablemuttering "I guess you had too much to drink". Really? We handed the server $10 for tying up her table for 5 minutes and left. Ugh! Never returning to this place and don't recommend to anyone who wants a pleasant dining experience. Read more

Not too shabby for a supper club. Dark low lit atmosphere which i prefer anyway. Food was good but not superb. Waitress was... friendly and fast. Southern comfort old fashioned was spot on. Most likely will be back again. Read more

Before you enter, there is easy parking and lovely landscaping. A beautiful hosta garden surrounds a small "pond" and there is a... barrel with a decorative fountain that looks like an old fashioned pump. We entered and the owner greeted us and took us to atable. We requested a different table that was easier for conversing. He quickly cleaned it off and reseated us. The menu has anice variety including daily specials. I ordered the special quarter chicken with spaghetti, and my mom ordered the Reuben. Bothwere delicious. The chicken was deep fried an it was so different than anything I've ever had before. The breading was morethan crispy, it was cracker-crispety-crunchy. I loved it! The chicken was moist and the breading wasn't overly salty, a reason Iusually avoid fried chicken. The spaghetti side was generous. The pasta was perfectly Al Dente. The sauce was thick and coatedthe pasta well. I don't know that it's made from scratch there, but it tasted like it was - deep tomato flavor. I sampled thefries that came with my mom's sandwich. They were large, thick steak fries -my favorite kind of fries! I rarely eat fries, but Ifind steak fries irresistible. These were lightly salted, perfect for my taste. My mom said her Reuben was delicious. Thewaitress was friendly and seemed very experienced. I'll never be able to carry plates stacked up on my arms like that! Read more
