So my husband ordered a chicken fajita. We went thru the whole meal and he did not get his tortillas. He came and checked drinks... but that was it. After talking to the manager we got a discount. Worth a drive for lunch or dinner. Many familiar dishes on the menu but some new choices in addition to their own 'Signature'... selections. Queso with chorizo is quite good. Staff was always checking to keep drinks and chips full. Manager came by duringthe meal to ask if everything was going well. Plentiful food portions. I have hated every Mexican restaurant we?ve tried in AL. Coming from LA the Mexican food in AL has been horrible. I would choose... downtown LA taco truck food over this place but?..this will be the place for me to get Mexican food. The food was really goodand our drinks were fantastic. An authentic Mexican vibe. Mexican family approved and kid approved. We ordered fajitas La Troja, kids taco plate, carne... tropical, fried ice cream, two horchatas, camarones Cancún, and a pineapple jarrito. Israel was our server and he was fantasticwith service in English and Spanish. I loved the decor and just the level of attention to customer service. The food and drinkswere great. The horchata was served in the fanciest glassware that I loved. I have no pictures of the good or drinks becauseeating with kids you just want to get the food down. I will say that the carne tropical was amazing and served with frijolescharros with weenies and it took me back to my mom's cooking. We will return. Mind you we are visiting from Florida. Read more
