Staff was polite and food was good. We ordered hibachi steak and sashimi from the sushi bar. Unfortunately the ambience was less... than good. My chair was sticky, and tables were tight with little room for your chair. We didn?t get much attention from theserver for drink refills throughout the evening. There was only one hibachi chef for 4 tables. He was a bit sloppy and not veryinterested in entertaining us. The fried rice had large chunks of white rice and egg in it? he didn?t even care to incorporateall the soy sauce and egg into the rice for a consistent texture and taste. When the rice and noodles were transferred from thehibachi to the plates, a lot of it spilled on to the table. Overall it was ok, but it?s not my first choice next time. Read more
This is a good alternative to another bigger name hibachi resturant in Holmdel. It is a smaller place but when I went wasn't... that busy. The hibachi was fun, it is the usual entertainment and the food was good. They also have a large sushi selection tochoose from. Read more
First time customer. Very short staffed, and the staff that was there busted their behinds to serve the customers. About an... hours wait for our food, I ordered steak and shrimp, the steak was excellent, very tender. Shrimp was delicious also. I'm not afan of Japanese cuisine, so this impressed me. Even the salad was better than what I've been served in other Japanese places. Ihope to go back soon. Read more
A gold standard for Hibachi dining. The food has always been top notch. I have always left extremely satisfied and with... leftovers. It's commonly said that they are a bit pricey, but they absolutely knock it out of the park everytime. They shouldcharge more. It's that good. Read more
I?m a regular here. I used to go here everyday for lunch a several years ago (as they have great lunch specials) and still... consistently delicious. Both their sushi and hibachi are awesome. And the main lady there is attentive, has the place clean, andis friendly. Always my go-to spot. They also use real soy sauce and not that garbage in a packet! Read more
Unbelievable food. One of the few places around here with fresh, high quality fish and a huge selection of specialty roles, all... of which had beautiful presentation. Overall a great experience. Read more
Waited an hour to take our order. Our food was cooked at another table and we watched chefs back whole time. Forgot about half... our food and the food we got was burned. No ventilation so restaurant filled with smoke. I would give 0 stars if I could. Read more
