This Panera Bread location is possibly one of the best in the country. Do not be influenced by any early (non positive) reviews... when the restaurant was launched in the midst of the COVID pandemic with all the issues that brought. Very simply; the food &beverages, employees, and management are among the best of any establishment that my family frequents. We are always greeted byfriendly employees and receive great service. Liz, the manager, works harder than any person we have seen to make this locationa warm inviting place that values the customer above all. Thanks for all the hard work to the employees and management. Yourefforts are clearly paying off for your customers. This Hazlet location is an example for all other Panera Bread location tofollow. Loud radio. They can't to lower it. You can't have a conversation with someone. And the current cashier is usually cranky and... doesn't smile. As a side note...even though it's loud as ever...at least it's not rap or r/b.... Read more

UPDATE: Service time has improved quite a lot since opening! Lots more staff during my visit, and eating inside didn't take more... than 10 mins on a weekday night. Will be returning soon! Read more

I ordered a take out order and they gave me the wrong salad. I called and asked for a refund and they offered to delivery me the... correct salad! They brought me the salad super quick and even gave me cookies for the trouble. Great customer service. ???? Read more

Clean, new location. We placed a large order and it took no time at all to make, was very fast. The manager himself came out to... double check with us on a question regarding a food allergy and even checked with their nutritionist to make sure the food wassafe for us. The manager and the other worker behind the counter were both very nice and helpful. The food was delicious andfresh. Can't wait to go again. Read more

Soup was delicious. No line at drive thru. Good experience. I think lack of ppl wanting to go back to work and the ppl who go to... work are lazy or just are not getting it causes problems for the restaurants. I go to McDonald's about once a week and most ofthe time the order is wrong. No one is paying attention when they work. New generation new trend. Kids now a days get upset thatyou tell them the order is wrong. It's insane. Food shortages, increased gas prices causes additional problems with service andprices. Hard to run a good business now a days. Really sad. Read more

We were really glad that we had a Panera close by to our house but food hygiene was terrible! I got a salad (Strawberry Poppy... Seed Salad) and it looked great at first but when I finally finished it I saw a small bug (check picture) which was a ladybug!After I finished the whole thing!!!! How disgusting!!! It did also take longer than usual than other Panera's. Overall, Iwouldn't blame them since this place is very new and has inexperienced workers. My only concern is they didn't have any hygienewith their food. Don't recommend this place even though it might be close to your home. Read more
