I have been eating in restaurants for the last 40 years all around the world as result of my workplace which requires a lot of... travel. I could honestly say I?ve never had an experience on a repeated basis like that of Perkins in Hazlet New Jersey. Theowner is a class act and hires very cordial employees . The waitresses and waiters are actually quite congenial and of coursethe food is outstanding. I am so happy I live close to this establishment I?m now going them 3 to 4 times a week. The waiter was nice and attentive. The place looked clean. The food, not that great. I asked for a chicken and waffles. The... chicken was a little extra crispy, more on the dry side, but the waffles were great! The country skilled was flavorful, justwished the potatoes were not the tater tots. My mother and I frequent this Perkins as our breakfast spot. We have a favorite waitress but even if we don't get her the... service is still friendly. Would give 5 stars if the bathroom wasn't so dim and dirty. But otherwise this location is great. Read more
Food was great . Service was ridiculous, waited for a coffee mug 15 minutes, then all four of us sat there with empty glasses... for thirty minutes while we watched our server texting on his phone . When asked at the register how was everything, rudecashier shoved my credit card receipt at me and walks away, Time for some retraining in this place. I can spend my moneyelsewhere. Read more
