The food and service here is always good. I have been eating at this family's restaurants since the 1970's at the Close... Quarters. Clams casino have been on the menu since that time. It is those types of old school dishes that keep peoplereturning here. A few weeks back we came for dinner and found it was removed from the menu after all these years. The waitstaffconfirmed that it still was very popular. This restaurant has been very successful since the 1940's. That taken into account,you have to be very astute about making changes especially those that can affect patronage. As we drive a considerabledistance to dine here I will have reconsider how frequently we come to this establishment in the future. I hope that continuedchanges to the menu do not result in the loss of uniqueness and end up like 90% of the modern day restaurants who all serve thesame dishes with no imagination. Horrible. Was far better in 60s and 70s. The antipasta was not the freshest and the meats were cut up in tiny pieces. Charge... more and give the customer something better! My fiance's onion soup was watery with few onions. The bread was fair. The servicewas amateuress-plates left on the table. This is not a good restaurant.
