The Hospitality Manager, a short kid with glasses and a beard, was very rude. Completely ignored me when I said something to... him. Just turned around and walked away. Maybe he was mad my family got a lot of food on the order? Still.. I am, or was, apaying customer. Acted the exact opposite of hospitable. Excellent service for a convenience store/gas station. Staff is very attentive, and the boneless wings are delicious. Definitely... worth stopping by if you're in the area. The fountain drinks are amazing too, I recommend the strawberry lemonade Read more
I don't get what all the bad reviews are about. I absolutely love this Sheetz. I've been here 3 different times all the way from... Hopewell Junction, New York while visiting Pennsylvania and I must say this Gas Station is MUCH nicer than most of the ones wehave back home. The inside is immaculate and the employees are all very nice. My first visit here was Early June of 2017 with myDad and Grandfather and the experience was absolutely amazing. This place instantly became my grandfather's favorite GasStation. He loved the friendliness of the employees and the very welcoming atmosphere. I love this place for the same exactreasons. My Second visit was July of 2018 again with my dad and grandfather and we got the same exact wonderful experience.Wonderful employees and great atmosphere. (See the quick little Video below for us driving by. ^w^) Plus, this place sells thenewspaper quite a bit cheaper than New York does. Sure, it's Pennsylvania's News and not New York's but it's generally the sameto read. Then, sadly in June of 2019 my grandfather was too sick from Leukemia to go but I was able to come back to Pennsylvaniawith my dad and Uncle and this instantly became my Uncle's favorite Gas Station too. We had the same exact experience that I hadwith my grandfather. However, this time it was even better. We picked up some slushies and food and everybody loved it!!! MyUncle couldn't even believe he was eating food from a Gas Station. Everything was Hot and Fresh and my Cousin loved the CheeseBites!! The slushies were really really good too!!! Unfortunately, on August 28th, 2019 my grandfather succumbed to Leukemiatherefore I haven't visited again since. However, I plan on returning to the Area again soon! They're definitely short staffed which I get, but I waited 25 min for a single breakfast sandwich. When I finally asked about... it, I found out one of the goofballs had completed it on their system before it was even started. Instead of putting a rush onit since I'm at 30 min, they did other orders first. Ordered at 1019am and food done at 1054. One. Freaking. Sandwich. Read more
I'm surprised to read negative reviews of this place, especially regarding friendliness and work ethic of staff and... supervisors/management. I visit this Sheetz almost every day after work and I have seen nothing but kind, hard-working,dedicated staff, as well as supervisors who care and lead a strong team. Supervisor Chris is superb. I can't speak much on theMTO food, nor the wait, because I do not order food there, but for those giving negative reviews in the early months afterremodeling, please keep in mind that this is a newly remodeled kitchen and the staff is getting accustomed to a new layout andincrease in business. However, I only see a few customers waiting for food on any given day. Haven't seen any "in-house"customer complaints since some horrible woman over 2 years ago was giving a trainee a hard time because he had to get asupervisor to address a register issue (and when the supervisor was called, he treated the situation remarkably well). I'mimpressed. Prices are good. LOVE that they got a license to sell beer. Lottery machine is great and cuts down on wait time inline. I never have to wait more than 2 minutes in line. Read more
