What a fantastic evening at Valette! Four of us celebrated a birthday dinner; we made reservations and the birthday girl... enjoyed a Happy Birthday card and a personalized menu. We followed the Chef’s Trust Me menu (plus wine) for six courses but itfelt like twelve, as each course was designed to be shareable. The scallop pastry and burreta were memorable starters; steak andduck were fantastic “mains”; and the bread and jam dessert was a knockout winner. All wines were wonderfully paired and thestaff did an excellent job highlighting why the wine was paired with a certain dish. Staff and server were joyous,knowledgeable, attentive, and efficient. I jewel of a find in Healdsburg. The owners focus on fresh and high quality ingredients. Menu options are creative, well done,... and mouth watering.. The ambiance is wonderful. Service is great. Fresh, hot bread is served. As one would expect with ahigh-end restaurant, prices come in a little high. All together, it is worth it. Looking for a great experience, try Valette. Read more

My first time having California Cuisine (as a Californian) and it was such a wonderfully executed dining experience. The... heirloom gazpacho was a nice start to the meal and a very nice surprise in the flavor department: light, floral, and enhancedwith the natural sweetness of the heirloom melon. I thought the scallop dish was very nice but needed a touch of heat and acid;it still was a very solid and interesting app. The duck breast is a must-get. It was everything I expected of a duck breastdish from the California cuisine perspective and more: succulent, crispy skin, perfectly mid rare, and yet it never ate heavy.Use of duck confit in the salad portion of the dish was both smart and delicious. My partner loved the halibut, which wasglistening from what I saw. Loved the meal so much and a perfect end to a trip from the wine country. Thanks Valette! Read more

A group of us went here for dinner. The menu was not expansive but what they served were on point. The atmosphere was... comfortable and service was efficient and professional. We would definitely come back. Read more

All of the food was delicious. The service was great. The execution of the tasting menu where people get different dishes was... really weird to me. I appreciated the sentiment, but hated the execution. I would absolutely go back for the food and theservice. Read more

Great meal, with that signature Sonoma style service. Food was delightful…beef was the only course the table was not fond of... from tasting menu. Each person received one of two plates for almost each course, alternating a plate among the guests. Servicefelt a little rushed, but was definitely efficient. Would love to return and try again in the future. Read more

Valette has won me as a permanent customer not only because of their very delicious, creative and well presented food, but also... their impeccable service from the entire staff team led by general manager Harry Bryan. Special shout out to Frank, who happenedto be our server twice in a row. Frank is knowledgeable, professional and very personal. The cocktail he customized for me stillthe best drink I had. Whenever I had a special request, he always went extra mile to accommodate and turned out to be greatsurprises. Thank you for such memorable evenings for my friends and my family. If you haven't been here yet, book a table immediately! We ordered a 6-course tasting menu with the wine pairing and the food... was unbelievable! It was easily the best tasting menu experience of my life, partly because the service (from Frank) was sogood... and partly because the food was extraordinary. We especially liked the scallops, the ahi, the beef tartare, and thesole. The vibe is incredibly chill for such an elevated culinary experience. We loved it and we'll return!
