We r vegetarian & vegan, and even though we do find food in the US, this has to have been the best dinner I?ve had ever since... moving here. Absolutely delicious alaskan tofu curry and the chef took extra care of us and made us a yummy fried rice. Theblueberry cream soda is most popular for a reason! Highly recommended! Awesome food, ambience and service. Special shout out toour server who took superb care of us. Read more

My son and I ate at The Overlook Restaurant last night. We arrived about an hour before closing and without any reservations. ... The staff was accommodating and we were able to get a nice window seat. Our server, Josh, was very attentive and easy toconverse with. He made some recommendations as I didn't know what I wanted to order. For our entrees, my son ordered theAlaskan Salmon, and I ordered the Curry Alaskan Halibut. Although we ordered our own entrées, we also tried each others food. The salmon dish was good and there was enough to satisfy, but according to my son, it wasn't a lot of food -not meant for hungrypeople. I really enjoyed my curry halibut dish. To me, there was more than enough food and the flavor was very good. Thehalibut was good, even without the curry that was under the halibut (with the forbidden rice, carrots, and spinach). Thecarrots in both of the dishes were done just right - soft enough, not mushy or undercooked. The curry had some spice (which Iliked) and the flavors blended well together. For dessert, we shared a Baked Alaska, which they flambe at the table. That wasalso good. Their Baked Alaska is a chocolate brownie with Moose Tracks ice cream encased in a toasted meringue. After ourserver (Josh) flambe'ed the meringue, he poured a blueberry syrup topping over it. Yum! Read more

This is THE BEST restaurant we found in Alaska. We ordered a curried Alaskan halibut and yak tenderloin, and of course the baked... Alaska. Yak tenderloin is so tender and delicious. The curry the Hella bed and also the rice was a perfect combination. Thedessert the baked Alaska was the best. The rum lighted cream, with the ice cream and chocolate cake underneath, OMG. It changemy life!! ???? And the price is so friendly. Also our waiter josh was very professional and attentive. Read more

I had a long day in the Denali National Park, and came out looking for some big dinner. Not to be disappointed, the soup portion... was big, and I was almost half full. The king crab ravioli was creamy and delicious, with a local brewed beer Blonde Eagle. Theoverlooking view was supposed to be good, unfortunately, the wild fire and smoke ruined the day. Otherwise, we could have got aglimpse of Mt. Denali! Read more

Had a great experience here! We wanted to sit outside but a table wasn?t ready yet, so we hung out at the bar for a while. Our... bartender Rachel made us delicious cocktails and was a delight to talk to! The restaurant also gave us free champagne for ourhoneymoon which was very sweet. I had the salmon and my husband had the halibut fish and chips, both delicious. This was ahighlight of our visit to Denali! Read more
