Went to long John's in heath, Ohio on Nov.8,2022 st 5:30 to order a chicken and fish family meal, 8 hush puppies and shrimp... thru the drive thru. I had asked for tarter sauce and honey mustard and cocktail and asked for extra telling them I would payfor extras. 30 minutes later when I got home and went to feed my family there was NO tarter sauce and honey mustard !! The onlything got was was ranch which were didn't order. We called and the only thing the manager kept saying over and over while shewas laughing was sorry !!! Despite the poor reviews, we were hungry for fish and decided to give LJS a chance. The building appears neglected, but the... cashier was friendly and helpful; and we purchased a meal to share. But red flags went up when our food was ready immediately(fish should be cooked to order, we thought). Amazingly, the fish, when we sampled a smidge before leaving (we planned to eat atthe park), was decently good. But the fries were decidedly ?dead.? They were hard, only remotely warm, and definitely not fresh.By then we didn?t want fresh fries and now-cold fish, and felt the bad reviews valid; so we asked to return the meal. That iswhen the employees turned sour. They did, amazingly, give our money back, but they did so with rudeness and scowls (even down tothe cook scowling through the pass-food-through opening!). I like the newer foods that are not deep fired. The deep fried foods throughout the food chain just seem overly saturated with... oil, but the salmon and grilled shrimp are surprisingly good. This particular location definitely could use a deep cleaningupdate or complete renovation to the building and property. Read more
I've ordered doordash from here multiple times and I never receive my entire order. Never...I repeat never order two sides with... your meal. Because 99.9% of the time you'll only get one. Read more
I waited in line at the drive-thru after ordering two pieces of chicken only, I waited 15 to 17 minutes and when I got up to the... window I asked if the chicken was fresh she said it was. I drove into the parking lot and took a bite of each piece and theywere awful and they were stale. I parked my car went inside and asked if I could get some fresh chicken and horrible attitude ofall three women was poor. It was no skin off their back just to trade out two pieces of chicken but they were not nice and theywere not friendly. I'll never be back Read more
A year ago I ordered regularly from these guys for their amazing fish tacos. Today I decided to try them again only to be... delivered some of the worst food I've ever put into my mouth. The taco shell tastes stale, bitter and cheap, the fish is asuper thin patty with barely any meat, and it's covered in a disgusting sour sauce. My GF's shrimp tacos were just as bad. Theyalso forgot my drink and the fries were cold and disgusting. I feel ashamed I even gave these people my money. Read more
My husband and I had a horrible experience here. The lady at the drive thru was rude, she even cursed at my husband. We DO NOT... recommend this place. We will never go there again. Read more
