After a bad experience elsewhere, we left, hungry and needing food and stumbled across Steve's Cafe. We were seated immediately... and the service was great. It was very busy but food didn't take too long and it was delicious. We had the Florentine Benedictand Bacon and eggs. It was well cooked, delicious and great value. What's not to like? Nothing fancy, but the staff is friendly and efficient, the food above norm. I had the veggie omelet, and it... was stuffed with fresh veggies. One of the best omelets I have had in a long time, and after I polished that off, I finished offmy wife's pancakes. Great meal at a more than fair price. Read more
We got in early morning Saturday. No wait thankfully. Our waiter was very kind and quick. The food was great. We had the garden... omelet which was very fresh and perfectly cooked. As well as the corned beef which was tasty. Good staff and good food. Enoughsaid. Read more
Terrific staff and food. Dan was our waiter at the counter and was very busy time following 11:00 mass at St. Helena Cathedral.... Although all were slammed, the staff was great, chipping in, working together and we could see the kitchen staff working veryhard too. My veggie omelet was absolutely delicious and staff were upbeat and handled it all like pros. Steve, you have greatstaff and great food. Read more
Nice place for brunch. Arrived on a Saturday at 10:00 am. Looks popular, it was busy. Waited 10 min for a table. I ordered the... breakfast special. Some pork in a Verde sauce with chips, avocado and eggs. Price is reasonable. Pretty tasty and not too big.Good service and the staff is friendly and professional. Plenty of parking space. Had a bummer experience here. Last morning in Helena and my husband let me pick the place to go to breakfast. I picked Steve’s... because of the good ratings. The waitress was nice but the food was very below par. I think the waffles and French toast areprobably the better route. We got the chumchurri steak and ordered it medium rare. Ended up getting one that was medium well towell done. Also ordered extra extra crispy hash browns and said please to make sure they were actually crispy. The hash brownscame out barely browned even on the top and far from crispy. They remade the steak but it still didn’t taste good sadly. Iwanted to enjoy breakfast but the whole experience was a let down. Sorry to have to write a bad review. Read more
