Cute little place. Note: It's on the pedestrian only street, so GPS will take you to a parking area off the next street over.... The chicken sandwich was a 4, burger a 5, and tots off the charts! Love the tots. Next time I'm gonna have to try the beetreuben. Read more
I really, really, really want to like this place a lot. It?s pretty good most of the time. What makes it sit at 4 stars is the... inconsistency in execution. I?ve had 3 different versions of a Brazil Bowl with 3 different visits. One was excellent withperfectly cooked items all around, the other had heavily overseasoned steak, and the other felt kinda mushy. Hopefully the kinkswork out with time and there?s more consistency in the kitchen. I applaud ?em for taking risks and making bolder culinarychoices than most of the folks in town. At the core level, the menu works well. Service is decent, staff is nice, and food comesout at a good pace. I?m still planning on supporting these folks as they grow. Read more
Wow! Really spectacular food and wonderful friendly service. I am so happy that Helena has this restaurant. Delicious flavors,... fresh ingredients. They even will text you when your to-go order is ready so that you can pop out to enjoy a stroll in thesunshine on the walking mall. I can't wait to try EVERYTHING. Read more
This place is an AMAZING addition to Helena!! They serve fresh, fast casual food with a great variety of menu. I'm excited and... hopeful that the menu will change occasionally. The food is AMAZING. We ordered the miso glazed BLT and the philly cheesesteak.There is also a great selection of drinks and beer. The fries and tots are so good. This place is delicious! It is very obvious that flavor is important to the chef. We ordered the cheesesteak, the bao bun tacos,... and the miso candied blt. The cheesesteak was oozing with cheese and delightful, the blt had the most amazing bacon and tomatojam, but the real winner was the bao bun tacos. Not only were the tacos adorable, but the char sui prok was perfectly done.Every bite into the food has a complex flavor pallet and with every chew you get a hint of something delicious. Family friendly counter service in a much needed part of the downtown walk. The prices are reasonable ($10-$20) and the food... was excellent. The menu is sure to please a wide range of palates and dietary restrictions. I have never had a bettercheesesteak in Helena and the side salad was delicious. After leisurely driving along a 7-hour stretch through southern Alberta and northern Montana's rolling hills and some winding... lakeshore roads, we arrived at Helena past noon one balmy day in August 2022; proving to be a liberating feeling after two yearsof we'd rather forget restrictions. The many nice landmarks, points and places of interests and the state's very friendlypeople deserve a separate review! After strolling through the city center the following day, we went to The Hopper for lunch.Ours is a group of five and we ordered ribeye cheesesteak, churrasco beef Brazil, teen burger and chickpea falapel for myself. Amost satisfying dining accentuated by the restaurant owner enthusiastically attending to the place's patrons, sharinginteresting tales about the city and its people! As a sidebar, next time I will not limit myself (to) the vegan way but opt forthe juiciness of the ribeye or churrasco beef. Or should have I asked for extra fig balsamic to soak my falapel in, maybe? This(our) neighbor to the south is one charming place indeed! Read more
