Busted Sandal Beer Garden in the Helotes Old Town shops area has great atmosphere with indoor seating in air conditioning and... outdoor seating at picnic tables and many other tables scattered around the grounds. The beer is excellent, they tap new onesall the time. Yesterday Sunday the 16th of October they had three new ones on tap two ipas and a pumpkin Porter, have to sayall three were excellent. Busted sandal was a bit hidden away in the shops at Old Town Helotes, but in building #5 we got a 9 beer sampler for $20 and... enjoyed tasting nearly all of their offerings. Lots of good outdoor space and tasty beer (especially loved the 210 watermelonbeer and tripel). Read more

Still one of our favorite breweries; just in a new (to us) location. We went on a Sunday and got there just as it opened. This... Old Town Helotes location is really cool with all the outdoor seating. The man on deck for the day was Adrian. We sat at thebar and because it wasn?t busy yet, my wife and I got to nerd out with him over beer, travel and 90?s music. I got to try theirCrimson Clover Irish Red. I gotta tell you, that?s one of the most enjoyable beers I?ve had in a while. We had been to the otherlocation a couple days before but that one didn?t have any more if the Irish so I?m glad I caught it. We took some of it and the210 Watermelon with us. If you like Busted Sandal beer but haven?t been to this one, definitely check it out. We had anothergreat time on one of our semi-annual visits to San Antonio. My husband and I liked the 210 and Finding Friday beer. The staff member that helped us was very cool and professional. We went... to check it out as we are planning to take my brother soon. If you want a chill place with chill music to catch up with an old pal, this is the spot. A rotation of 10 or so draft beers,... all types so everyone will leave happy. Ask for samples of you're not sure what you want. They fill growlers, and have a growlerdiscount on Thursdays. Read more

This location is by far my favorite place in the area. Outdoor seating is always intimate and relaxed. Food and ice cream right... across the courtyard. Regular live music and half-off drafts on Wednesdays if you buy their glass. What's not to love? I'malmost hesitant to give away my secret, but this place deserves attention. Read more

Fun visit to the tap room in Old Town Helotes this weekend. The bartender was very friendly and came out to our table to see if... we needed another beer. There is plenty of outdoor seating and the wine and coffee available at the shops next door are greatfor anyone in your group that doesn?t drink beer.
