Food is okay but everything has such a thick layer of dust/dirt on it. Doesn't look like the decorations, half walls, or any... part of the restaurant that is not a table and chairs has been cleaned in years ???? the tree they have in there literally hasdirt filled cobwebs hanging down on it. I feel if you are going to put out decorations you should at least make sure to keepthem clean! Read more
Came here with my husband who is not vegan but as I am I did not expect to find many items I could enjoy. I was pleasantly... surprised! Our waiter helped me decide what I could eat by explaining what had meat or dairy in it! Vegan options: Vegetabletempura appetizer, Vegetable hibachi plate. This comes with a salad, rice and miso soup! Oh yes and sake/alcohol is alwaysvegan! ???? I would love to see a few more vegan options like maybe some tofu entrees? Made a reservation for 7pm bc that was all that was available and we were in told we could sit at 6:30. We were there at 6 and... decided to be patient because we wanted hibachi. It is my mother and younger brother’s last night in Texas, they live inMichigan. I was intent on treating them to a beautiful hibachi meal. Since we had a long wait, another friend decided they wouldjoin and meet us. Because we added this one individual, we were told at 6:30 that we could not sit at our reserved area untilthey arrived. We are now spending at least 45 minutes waiting, whilst watching others be seated. Even though they know that Iwill spend hundreds of dollars here shortly. We can’t even get a drink or step foot past the waiting area according tomanagement. Make the trip to Osaka on Broadway next time for quality service. I should have started there. I've been coming here for years but I haven't been since Covid started. Went back and the food is still really good. The sushi... specials are awesome with Happy Hour from 3-7pm Mon- Thurs The rolls were not the best I've had but they were still very good.That's why I gave them 4 yummy faces ???? ???????????? but I did give them 5 stars for the great Happy Hour Sushi specials. Wewatched a family enjoying their hibachi experience. They seemed to be enjoying the food and the chef as well.???? Service wasexcellent! Read more
Sat at the sushi bar, Issac our server was very friendly and accomadating. My friend and I wanted hot sake but they had run out,... so we had Ty-Ku black and asked for it to be heated, which was not even a problem. They even had fresh wasabi, which I was sosurprised. First time going to this location. Requested the sushi bar and we were let in immediately. They apparently keep busy and filled... up all their normal tables so if you want a table, you'll likely want to make a reservation. Very friendly staff, sushi isexcellent, the guys behind the sushi bar are happy to explain any of the sushi options. Prices were reasonable. Parking isdecent. Only negatives, the floors were a little sticky and the bathroom was a bit dirty. Will definitely be returning. Read more
After movie early dinner with my wife and mother-in-law. Seated immediately, attended to promptly, and besides the restaurant... being out of Green Tea, everything else was wonderful. You know a restaurant is confident in its servings and seasonings whenthe tables are absent of salt & pepper, and the case of an Asian Food restaurant does not have soy sauce, mustard or hot oil onthe table to drown out the poorly seasoned entrees and sides. The soup was beefy and not overdone. Salad was crisp romaine,with carrots, tomatoes, cucumber and onion. All dressed (not drowned) in a great ginger dressing.
