I've heard they're under new management, and while I can't confirm this, it shows a little in the food. The place still feels... warm and inviting, and the service is really great. The food was okay, but not terrible. I didn't send anything back but thesteak could have been seasoned a little better and it felt like the meat itself was a little old. The staff was super friendly and attentive. Kept our drinks full, food came quickly and we were checked on regularly. Delicious local joint! Found this lovely place and it was full of locals and outstanding food. My love and I split the "famous... steak" and got a side of Cole slaw and loaded baked potato. We love Steer n Stein. This is a great place to get a good meal. This isn't a fine dining steakhouse, so if that's what you're... expecting your in the wrong place. We shared a bottle of Merlot which was really good for $13. We ordered the onion ringappetizer which was nice and crisp, but a little greasy. We both ordered the 14 oz. Ribeye steak with salad and baked potato.Salad was nice size and tasty. Dressing nice and thick. Potatoes were delicious. Ribeyes did have a little fat, but we're reallytasty and exceptionally tender. We splurged and got the mushrooms on top for $2 more. They were abundant and a nice addition.Bread was a nice way to stop up some of that steak juice. Excellent meal and service too. Hard to beat for the price. Under $80for all that. We have had the Stockyard steak before and it's really tasty and tender too. Nice way to celebrate ouranniversary. Love this place! Read more

I highly recommend this restaurant. They are offering indoor dinning. The restaurant looked super clean.. The food was... delicious and the customer service was excellent. I had the Ribeye steak and shrimp with broccoli. My wife had the Sirloinsteak and the loaded baked Potato. The food was delicious and cooked just the way we ordered. Great place to bring the kids. My Grandmother requested that my family and I go have dinner here. We did and everything was great! We did 2 appetizers between... 6 of us, Onion Rings and the Mushrooms. The majority of them got the ribeye and enjoyed it. I tried the Pepper Steak. It was allvery good. I also thoroughly enjoyed the Bloody Mary's. Read more
