Awesome environment with a refreshing concept. But not impressed with the food. No choice on sides, you get what you get,... makes it a little hard for people with dietary restrictions. Potato salad is decent, but not outstanding. The marinated kalewould not be my first, second or third choice. Good place for a burger, but no knowledge of how to properly cook lamb. Waitstaff was pleasant but not helpful. We noticed it was their break time and their burgers looked better than one of theburgers we ordered, odd. The cook was extremely nice and did try to repair the lamb but made it worse, explaining she doesn?teat lamb. Shocker! How do you know what it is supposed to be like if you have never even tried it. So much fun! Such good food! The atmosphere is amazing and if it was warm enough I would have loved to dine outside. The food is... a little pricey but worth it, since it's sooooo fresh. I'm so glad I stopped here to eat! Read more

Great locally sourced food in a cool rustic building. The menu changes daily so check the website to see what they have. They... always have wood fired pizza though which is wonderful. You can sit outside next to the garden when the weather is nice. Read more

Visiting Michigan means trying new places to eat so we stopped at the Maple Grille. This is a farm to table place that is down... to earth, using a wood fire and an open kitchen with a dynamic menu that looks like it changes depending on supply and demand. Three of us ordered a wide variety: Fish, pizza, and chicken. Everything was great, and we especially enjoyed the corn breadloaves appetizers... with maple syrup of course. They have a few things for sale but the draw here is the food. Notinexpensive, but certainly a good value for the menu and amount of food. Also, their craft root beer was tasty and we liked thestainless steel glasses. Everything was fresh. Highly recommend based on our one visit. Read more
