BBQ is a matter of opinion, so I was open-minded on my first visit to Bell's today. Parking was ample, the place was clean, and... the service was great. The food was, um, average, in my opinion. Tasty, large portions and enough sauce to douse my doubts aboutgoing back. I will return! Read more

I spent 23 formidable years in Texas, so I know my barbecue. Bell's BBQ in Henderson comes pretty darn close to the Lone Star... lusciousness. The catfish was perfect. Corn meal crisp on the outside, pearly white, sweet and flaky on the inside. I liked thecracker on top of my mac and cheese. Real cheese, by the way! The brisket sandwich came with enough meat for two sandwiches. Andyou definitely needed two hands to eat it. To me the brisket was a tad dry, but the piquant barbecue sauce made up for it. Oh,and there are four different barbecue sauces to choose from, so there is a sauce for every palate. Each plate comes with Devyn'shomemade pickles. I don't know Devyn but they make extraordinary pickles. Made me pucker...just enough! Each meal comes with twosides. So much to mix and match. The menu brags there are thousands of combinations. Bell's has three kinds of ribs: St. Louis, baby back and beef. You can add a single rib to anything else you order. This is cool because you don't have to order a wholerack if you feel like catfish but can't resist a rib. You order and pay at the counter. The staff brings the food to you. Thedining room is sunny and cheery because the booths line up against floor-to-ceiling windows. The restaurant has a large coveredpatio dining area, so you can eat outside during most of the year in Las Vegas. The eatery is in a strip shopping center inHenderson so there's plenty of parking. OK, I'd rather eat barbecue in Austin. But I live in Vegas, so Bell's it is! Read more

I went because I miss boiled peanuts. The menu had so many things to try. We settled on a brisket and a pulled pork plate. It... was okay. Everything really lacked flavor, even salt and pepper. There weren't really any technical issues, except burnt sweetpotato fries. The pulled pork was better than the brisket. The boiled peanuts were okay, not cooked long enough in my opinion. The girl working the desk was very sweet and attentive, so that was nice. Read more

Really good food. One star less for personal opinion. The rack of ribs wasn't as tender as I like, but that is very subjective... depending on the person. As for the rest of the food, it's very good. The home run for me was the barbecue pork belly. Sooogood. I really liked the Mac and cheese too. Read more

Bell's BBQ has the best sides! The crispy brussel sprouts are my favorite and their mashed yams, mac and cheese, and deviled egg... potato salad are really yummy too. The fried cat fish has great flavor and it's served with a slightly spicy dipping sauce. Thepulled pork and sliced brisket have just the right amount of smokiness, which is complimented with all the sauce flavors theyhave. I often call in for easy pick up and dine in is open as well as I sat down for lunch recently. They have a rewards programalso and offer military discounts. Read more

Bell?s had one of the best pulled pork sandwiches I?ve ever had. The pulled pork was nestled inside Texas toast, which was... toasted perfectly, and topped with crispy onions. Perfectly balanced flavors. So good. The brisket platter was good. Fries werea mixture of sweet potato, waffle and skinny fries. For a unique twist on Cesar salad and cole slaw, order the Cesar slaw.Highly recommended. Staff was welcoming and friendly. If you live in the area, ask for a rewards card. Read more
