Joey?s is great! The young lady who took my order over the phone was very pleasant, helpful and friendly. When I arrived my... order was ready and hot. They restaurant is small but very clean. The two ladies working the front counter were super! Veryfriendly and had super work ethic. The food was delicious. So, I really had a craving for pizza and antipasto and decided to give this place a try. From the reviews I thought why not.... Customer service was awesome no issues there or issues with my order. However, the actual quality and taste of the food was notgood at all. The pizza literally had no taste and from the picture you can see the slices were two different sizes so noconsistency there and one more thing they were kinda burnt too which made them hard to eat. I felt like I was chewing rubber.The antipasto was not very good too, not only do they skim on the cheese and salami and load upon peppers they could have cut upthe cheese and salami at least but I guess they were lazy or just don?t do it like that. Great meatball and pepperoni calzone. I will be back to try the pizza that everyone's raving about. Joey is cool and the place... looks clean and absolutely N.Y. style through and through. Ok final review of the pizza. 1st one i had the dough was tooocheeewy! No bueno. So i asked them a couple days later to make me another pie but double pepperoni and well done crust. The 2ndone was a bit better. But im having a problem w the cheese. It taste like the same stuff villa pizza and many other bars usearound town. Just coming back from N.Y. last week and having tasted various pies around Manhattan and Brooklyn, there's nocomparison. The pizza at joeys doesn't have the same quality you find in N.Y.. I will just have to wait til i get back there toenjoy another REAL pie. I have given up here in LV. So im gonna have to down grade your stars to a 3. Because your calzones arestill ok. Read more
