The decor is awesome, but the service was not impressive at all. We were a group of 11, and the appetizers were not all... delivered at the same time. The main courses were served in a more organized manner. Four people in our party ordered meatballsand other appetizers as a main meal. However, Pizza Rock served the meatballs in only two dishes. It should have been 4 separateorders! The server was told about it and she replied that's how they serve their meatballs. What? I don't want to share my dish,thank you. Not to mention, the server was told it was the main course by two of the people, but she still served them early. Myfiance and I shared an appetizer and a main course. We had a calzone, and it's enough for two but it wasn't that tasty.Truthfully, I make better a better calzone in my own kitchen. Some of the checks were not correct either. The server had to doseveral fixes before payment could be made. I won't be going back and I think most of my group felt the same way. I gave it 3stars because it's very clean and spacious. Read more
Delicious Pizza and average service. The New Yorker Pizza is our go to and never disappoints. Server did forget to bring extra... marinara sauce we ordered and was slow on refills and checking back on us. Still a great dining choice in Green Valley RanchResort. Read more
7-10-22 Excellent! First time here but definitely not the last! We had the meatballs and the Americano pizza. Both were... excellent! The ingredients are fresh and delicious! The crust is amazing! They pack on the toppings! They were very busy but theservice was on point! Our server Marsha was the best! The atmosphere is great! Plenty of big screen TVs. Food was good. Went during a busy time and still didn't have to wait long to be seated or for our food to come out. The... atmosphere here is everything, the idea of the semi truck is cool, making the place a hit for the kids. Would be awesome to havean entrance from the outside, as you HAVE to go a little into the casino to enter the restaurant. Read more
I went to the Pizza Rock at Green Valley Resort and Casino today and got a Detroit style pizza. It was called Motörhead and had... pepperoni, sausage, bacon, salami, mushroom and basil. My boyfriend thought it was pretty good but I beg to differ. I was reallydisappointed in the crust. For a Detroit, the crust should’ve been a lot more crispy and airy. It wasn’t even close. It wasvery similar to their Sicilian style pizza crust that I had last week. Honestly, the Detroit style pizza at the pizza joint inthe GVR food court is way better. When I say way better I’m talking about the crust. And not just the edges, the underneathtoo. The crust is what makes all the different styles different. Read more
