Family owned and operated with authentic atmosphere. Today, my son an I had dinner after a long day and we were very pleased... with the amazing customer service. Karen was prompt attentive and friendly (AMAZING is an understatement). We had fajitas andthere was more than enough for any person. Hot, fresh and delicious. When we are back in the area this will be one of ourstops. Excellence in everything done here. Read more

This place makes you feel like you're eating with family. So friendly and colorful walls and decor! Contemporary light fixtures... and a live DJ on the Friday we were last there! they also offer outdoor dining with views of the lake and lovely patio lighting. The food is tasty and fresh and served with a smile. Reasonably priced for Lake Las Vegas too and considering your sittingnext to a lake that looks like you're in Italy in the middle of the desert, I'd say it's worth the extra cost! Read more

Great mexican spot. Highly recommend the shrimp dish, it was incredible. It gets pretty busy on the weekend but our service was... good and everything was very tasty. Read more

We went to Sonrisa last night to celebrate a birthday. Because of special dietary needs the birthday group brought their own... cake. After ordering $300 of food and drinks the waiter stated that the restaurant would have to charge $3 per plate in orderto eat the cake that was brought in. We were insulted and ended up leaving. I can?t imagine why they would not have disclosedthis before taking the reservation. Oh I know why. Because they don?t take reservations it?s first come first serve. LikeTaco Bell. I should have realized there was a problem when the first thing the waiter did was recommend a ?reasonable? shot oftequila. We ordered 5. The waiter left to go get them when we realized they were $30 a shot. I get it, it?s good tequila butthe waiter did describe them as reasonable. I felt misled by him. Lastly, there was a real insect issue. We counted 5 fliesin our area and had to continuously swat at them to scare them away from the food. I can?t even imagine what they must gothrough in the kitchen. Bottom line. This restaurant must only serve tourists. Because I can?t imagine being a local andreally felling like your patronage is really appreciated here. I recommend you steer clear of Sonrisa and opt for a betterdining experience somewhere else. Finding a good Mexican restaurant can be hit or miss. Myself and my family absolutely loved this place! Definitely worth... checking out. We tried a couple of appetizers and they were so good! We are a family of 5 and everyone really enjoyed theirmeals. They have outdoor seating, we sat inside as there was no outside seating available. Full bar, shakes and Shirley templesfor the kids. Our server was great and kept checking on us. If you're in the area I would suggest checking it out! Read more

Letty our server was very sweet, we ordered and within 10 minutes. The food I personally didn't like. I feel like cafe rio had... 10 times more flavor than this place. I ordered tacos and since they only put 1 tortilla it broke on the first lift andeverything inside the taco fell off. No lemons for the plates. And overall it just didn't taste great. Read more
