Totally disappointed in the food, as were the people sitting in the booth next to me. Came for their signature fish and chips... but was told the kitchen manager was in a hurry to leave last night and just didn't prep for today. Ordered the Ruben, ( didnteven have sauerkraut or dressing on it) which was horribly dried out and little weird tasting. Now my stomach is queasy. Hmmm,looks as if the kitchen staff needs revamping. I eat here several times a week, the food is good, and the prices very reasonable. We have a Wednesday night friendship group,... and this is where we meet to enjoy dinner along with the conversation that accompanies our get-together. Village Pub is part ofthe Ellis Island Casino which is where I go when I am in the mood for BBQ Ribs and Chicken, a good combo. Read more
This is a cute place my parents found. It is popular with the older crowd, probably because it is closed to Anthem and... reasonably priced. I?ve eaten here several times. Had the sirloin steak special, baby back ribs, cod. All good. Veggies aregood. The Friday night soup is clam chowder, and it?s so good they typically run out. Rich thick creamy with plenty of clams. This place is great! The staff was so nice and friendly. Our waitress was Alabama, she was very attentive. Her awesome service... and great food is why we came back for breakfast the next day. The food is very good and the portions are generous. I highlyrecommend their French Toast for breakfast. This is some of the best French Toast I have ever eaten. Most restaurants I havebeen in in Vegas are loud, not this one. We could actually hear eachother talk as the restaurant is pretty quiet. Read more
The food here is really good. The chicken pasta was good. The fish and chips was a lot of food. The pricing is a great value.... The opportunity was the service. Our hostess sat us. He very friendly, got our drinks and then it took awhile to see our server.Once she came, she was very friendly and knowledgeable, but we didn?t see her again until after our food arrived by the runner.A couple of our drinks sat empty before finally getting a refill. Minor inaccuracies like strawberry jelly did not come when werequested it. I said I didn?t need any of the tartar sauce or lemons with my fish and chips, and it came. My 2 relatives whoasked for their steaks rare as can be came medium rare. Then it took awhile to get our check. Seems like either really shorthanded or lack of urgency to exceed customer?s expectations. Definitely great food and value will keep us coming back, but ifthe service doesn?t step up, it may deter us in the future. Read more
I waited a long time for my server Chelsea to take my order but she ignored us completely. I have been coming to this place for... the past two years and never had waited that long. We left because I had to work overnight shift and don?t have time to bewaiting for someone that has problems. I know she doesn?t care about loosing clients because she is just an employee.
