I enjoy the Siplens experience, from the finger-licking good seafood boil (cajun shrimp, crab, and lobster are my fav), tasty... lemon pepper wings, and delicious banana pudding with lite caramel drizzle on top to the ambiance, music selection, and service.Don't beat yourself. Placed order for CHICKEN & SHRIMP rice bowl only to get home and realize there was no Shrimp but Chicken & Steak!!! The female... who took my order was for lack of a better word not very welcoming/friendly to say the least. Maybe she was having a badday(which we're all entitled to) but it can NOT carry over when you're the 1st person customers interact with in therestaurant!!! I will say people make mistakes all the time but when the person taking the order seemingly is more concernedabout a phone(or something) orders can & will get effed up!!! Since I eat here at least 5-6 per month I felt I needed to makeDwight (manager/cook/customer service/etc) aware of the mistake. I will say Dwight apologized and said he'd make it "right" onmy next trip(he knows I'm coming back)!! Being around the restaurant industry for 35+ years it's imperative that the "Front End"of the business takes care of certain things like getting orders taken correctly so that the "back end" of the house doesn'tmake mistakes such as this. Kudos for Dwight for taking the call & promising to make things right on my next visit!! As acustomer you can't help respect that!! If ALL the employees had the demeanor and willingness to serve & make the customersdining experience a great one as much as Dwight does this place would get 10 ? rating from me & like I mentioned I eat here atleast 5-6 per month!!! Dwight needs some sort of recognition for his excellent customer service skills because w/o myconversation with him after the incident last night I wouldn't be returning!!! The food was top tier!!! Atmosphere was pleasant, establishment was clean, employees very friendly. We stopped on the way to... Greensboro and the food was so good, we stopped on the way going back home. First trip I got Gator bites, Mac and cheese, CajunShrimp and Grits , and Banana Pudding. Second trip, 2 Cajun shrimp and grits, A shrimp combo special with 1 lb. of shrimp,sausage, corn and potatoes, and tea. I was given a new flavor of Lickin? Lemonade to try. Everything was delicious!! I've heard great things about this place and I wanted to come. I live out of town in Virginia so I called to see if they were... going to be open prior to making that drive. The young lady answered the phone and I asked if they would be open on a specificdate. She said she didn't know and then asked a coworker. The coworker also didn't know. She said well just ride through. Iexplained to her that I was driving from out of town and her response was oh. And then hung the phone up. Please get new peopleto answer your phones. Smh Read more
